Leona blinked for a moment, her cold, machine like combat face still worn. She had not even struck what would have been the final blow. Nevertheless, Shyvana seemed to be finished, and Leona would not pursue her with her guard down. Moving back a single step whilst lowering her guard, she gave a slow nod to her. "Well fought." With that, she turned back to her two companions and resumed her normal regimen, as if nothing had happened to interrupt it. The three of them carried on for hours with their running, their exercises, their sparring. At one point they even took off their armor and sparred hand to hand. Everything they did was with an inexplicable drive to it, as if they were not drilling, but in the middle of the battlefield. What is more is that it seemed perfectly normal to them. They were not attempting to put on any spectacular show to the Demacian onlookers, they were simply training. The location mattered none. Their method was the same.
It was only when the sun began to make its gradual descent below the horizon did they cease their incessant training. With a single cry in the language of the Rakkor from Leona, the other two ceased their actions and were immediately beside Leona. All of them returned whatever training weapons they had used to the precise location where they were taken, and then made their way back toward where they had come with perfect matching steps, their golden armor a brilliant spectacle in the light of the setting sun.

Fiora chewed thoughtfully as she neatly finished her apple. There was a simple table laid out for the duelist, complete with small appetizers and a simplistic but rich broth. As she casually threw the apple core onto her plate, the Grand Duelist continued to watch the visitors finish their drills. It was clear that the Solari kept themselves in top condition and Fiora had no doubt that they would be perfectly capable of replicating the techniques on real flesh and blood. She sighed; what a pity that Leona had not drawn blood during her spar with Shyvana. Fiora had even kept herself quiet, perhaps against Jarvan's direct orders, when Shyvana ignited a gauntlet in the hopes that Leona would retaliate violently enough for...permanent damage. Nothing serious, of course.
Fiora wiped her mouth on a napkin and tossed that as well on top of the plate; someone would pick it up, no doubt about it. The Demacian's lips curled as Leona began hand to hand combat with one of her companions. Her eyes skimmed over every detail, while her mind diligently imprinted them into the recesses of her memory. Today's allies could so easily become tomorrow's enemies. Trust only Justice, the Grand Duelist recited silently from the Measured Tread. She still had her doubts with Jarvan's choice of allies but as far as she can tell, the Solari would be steadfast comrades.
As the sun began setting, Leona finally let out a call, no doubt bringing the drill to an end. Training was over. 'At last,' Fiora huffed to herself, bringing a hand up to rub a temple. She admired their persistence but it was beginning to get cold and the Laurent was beginning to get bored of being a watchdog to three. She waited until the three Solari left in the direction of their quarters before standing. Making her way over the opposite way, Fiora made eye contact with a guard, who nodded and left the training grounds. Fiora leaned against a pillar, waiting for the guard to report back with his superior. When he came, she would inform him, if he did not know already, of her duty to report back to the king.

The sun started its decline, casting a red hue across the sky that melted into pinks and blazing orange. Guard shifts changed as Leona and her entourage returned to their rooms, leaving Fiora in search of The King. The Lieutenant of the watch, Loris Whitefield, approached Lady Laurent with a tight-lipped grimace below his thin mustache and a modest bow.
"I trust you 'ave been told zat our King requests your presence at dinner in the dining hall. Ze Solari will be zere as well. I trust ze meal was... to your liking?" His mother was a Laurent, but Loris never felt the family's favor. He was a career soldier, and well suited to it. He turned as if to leave.

Fiora cocked her head to the side as she listened. His distinct Laurent accent must have not escaped her notice but the Grand Duelist kept her face neutral. She glanced behind her at her finished meal, almost guiltily acknowledging how full she was. However, the mask was back on and she gave a perfunctory nod.
'Is zat so? In zat case, I would be 'onored to accept and shall be zere as requested.' she replied. 'Zee meal was nothing less zan I expected,' she added, answering his question. As Lieutenant Whitfield began to leave, Fiora watched him go, a small tingle running up her spine.
''ow far some Laurents will fall for love.' she murmured. 'A shame, a shame.' she tittered, unconsciously echoing her father's favorite phrase. Her parents never liked the idea of someone with Laurent blood, no matter how loosely related, to be in an occupation as gritty and dirty as the military. She stifled a yawn and began to walk. She had a little bit of time to return to Laurent Manor to change into something more appropriate for a dinner of this caliber.
