Leona thought it was silly how nervous and exited he seemed to be by her request. It was only putting on armor. She was not asking him to be her champion or anything of the sort. Still, she had the issue of putting her armor back on solved, and so there would be no issue when it came to that. "Thank you" She replied. She was about to pick up her armor and padding garments and walk out before she stopped herself. None of the party were Rakkor, and although her kinsmen would not so much as give a second thought to her emerging dressed as she was, they might find it odd. She had already discovered that soon after becoming a champion. Thankfully, she had brought with her more modest clothing of cloth that she had been seen with earlier in the day, and put it on before she picked up her armor and padding and left the tent. "Whoever is next may enter" She said, walking back to where she had sat previously, resuming her interrupted maintenance of her weapons and armor.

Tekun Valos stood to his feet and made his way over. He was the next on the list, or at least that was what he had expected. "I suppose that makes it my turn then hm?" The Immortal Soldier would walk behind the cloth barrier to meet with the yordle from before. Perhaps here he could clear the air with him?
Ron looked at the taller human. And he was tall. 'Like a giant!', Ron thought. "Please unclothe to your undergarments. Don't worry, it will be quick and mostly painless, promise." Ron said, pointing to the bed. He was thrilled to see if the Freljordian was telling the truth. If he had, Ron would have a field day. He would need his permission for further study later though...

Tekun’s gaze was fixated on the smaller creature. First he removed cloak and vest, the vest of which was placed to the side and made an audible CLUNK as it hit the ground despite being placed gently. Then boots, followed by socks, shirt and pants. As instructed he stripped down to the minimum. It was expected that the Freljordian would have his share of scars beyond what was on his face and arms but how many likely exceeded the yordle’s expectations.
Many smaller ones of various lengths ran his body and backside that ranged in a variety of depths, from deep to shallow, that came in several flavors, burns and cuts. The most severe of which was what looked to be a searing that ran across his chest, a ring scar that ran around his left biscep, one by his throat with a matching one that seemed to be reminiscent of an exit wound and a similar one near his abdominal. The Immortal Soldier was comparable to an amateur’s cutting board that had seen several decades of practice. His body was also in prime condition, minus the scars.
Ron would not believe his eyes. So many scars and he was still alive? He'd seen brutal cases of psychotic mass murderers who loves to torture their victims and desecrate their corpse later with less scars. The most frightening ones were on his chest. He turned around to see his back fully scarred too and one of the scars next to his stomach has an exit scar behind it. It was impossible to see them all on one look. While it may have not horrified Ron, it did make him feel a bit queasy. "Y-yes..." Ron cleared his voice. "I mean... Let's begin. Sit on the bed please. "Ron underwent the same examination as he had with Leona, only that he made sure to look into each scar and make sure it's safe. He wasn't sure if he was seriously living forever, or if he was just a masochist. In any case, everything was normal until he took the blood from him. Again, he used the wrist to take the blood and he put it in his reader.
Ron dropped the device on the ground and took a step back from Tekun.

Tekun sat upon the bed as he had been instructed. Stuttering again, he could have expected as much but he dismissed it. His gaze never once left as he went through and examined some of his more serious scars. He extended his arm and allowed his blood to be taken.
The device clattered to the ground and Ron stepped back, perhaps a cautionary step. "You should be more careful with your medical equipment. I'm sure it's pricey and I'd hate to see you break it." He paused. "I promise you, before you took that test your equipment was working."
Ron wasn't quite sure how the man could be so calm. Imagine that 15% of his blood is raw magic. The device was working fine just moments ago! Could it be real? Ron picked up the device while still eyeing his current patient. The readings were still the same. Normal except that in additional for his blood, he also had magic in his vessels. Ron went forward and poked Tekun's leg, to check that he was even real because his mind just couldn't wrap itself around those thoughts. "I-I've heard cases... Of Rune magic... 10% magic, 11% magic, all dead... H-how can you be alive?!" Ron couldn't even mouth his words correctly.

Tekun held a light smile upon his face, the corner upturning only slightly as he looked down upon the Yordle. "I can't say. But it runs through me and is a part of me."
As if on call, the scarring upon his body a lit with a soft glowing light that was not unlike Xerath, a blue glow held beneath the surface of his skin that was held for a moment and then faded just as quickly.
"Rune magic is dangerous and using it wantonly can have unexpected results upon people. Is it so hard to believe I was one of the rare cases who were lucky?" He gave a slight shrug of his shoulders. "These things happen. I cannot tell you why, but they happen."

- 'Freed yourself from human vessel'... Does that mean you died?
Orianna managed to figure out that metaphor, still looking at the sparky magical man with curiosity. She tried to draw parallels between herself and this story, but did not quite manage to do so. She died, and her father crafted a body out of metal, while Xerath died ... and somehow made this new body for himself. The automaton was no magician, she did not know how exactly that was possible. And ... neither did he, probably. Though what the Magus did and said next was even more odd.
- Imprisoned? -she reiterated after him, and watched his feeble attempts to free himself out of the remains of shackles that tried to contain him, like a cocoon. Slowly, the automaton girl reached forward, daring to actually touch the being of pure magical energy, her metallic knuckle tapping against one of the plates that remained around the energy body.
- I always thought this was your armor. Is it not? - she retracted her hand, eyes slowly scanning through the magical being, particular attention at the crest in the middle, and chains going from it, in all directions. - Maybe the Chain Warden can help you get rid of the chains. He seems to know a lot about chains. But I haven't seen him in the Institute for a long while.
Leave it to Orianna to suggest asking help from Thresh.

Leona glanced away from the pauldron she was examining to take a brief look around. There was time to ask questions and, hopefully, receive answers now. She thought back, and the Demacian soldier that bowed to her came to mind. "You are a Demacian soldier, correct?" she asked, locking eyes with him so that he would know that he was the one being asked.
Ron's ears rose a bit but were still quite flat on his head since he was still suspicious of Tekun. "I... I see... I guess you are extremely lucky. Just stay away from me when you're drinking." Ron said and went ahead to look at Tekun's blood type. His blood type indeed matched A. No wonder as in many theories, it was the least susceptible to magic. Another prime example here was Leona. "Your blood type is 'A' as you specified but I can't use your blood on others if they need transfusion as it contains too high magic percentage and can cause instability in one's healthy percentages and even heart problems. However, I might be able to transfer others' blood to you."

James looked up as Leona addressed him, closing his sketchbook and standing up at attention, albeit a loose one. "Yes, I am. My name is James, though." He went back to being at ease after a moment, looking Leona steadily in the eyes. "It's an honor to meet you in person, Leona."
I will meet one someday...and that day will either be the best or worst day of my life.

"I promise you that I've been around long enough to know that intoxication won't make me explode. Through the Preserver organization, I can verify that I am able to receive blood transfusions. Giving blood is ill advised however." Tekun retorted.
"This information you're verifying shouldn't make you uneasy. I've been on the battlefield and through many other odd experiences to know what this magic has done to be. One thing you should understand though is I lack the ability to keep myself a float in water. I'd say I couldn't swim but I'm unable to float. I sink like a lead weight and I will risk drowning." Tekun noted. "I don't know if we'll encounter any such scenario like this but it's something to be mindful of. Beyond that...I wouldn't worry too much about me."

Leona was amused by James' response. She was, of course, used to it, but seeing someone who was not Rakkor or Solari give such a response was slightly out of the norm. She remained seated and gestured for him to seat himself. "There is no need to stand at attention. Seat yourself." Leona said, perhaps slightly more authoritatively than she intended, but it was still an invitation, not an order.

James nodded, sitting down. He looked up at Leona and thought for a moment. "Was there something you wanted to ask me?" He asked, spinning his pencil idly in his hand.
I will meet one someday...and that day will either be the best or worst day of my life.
