The monk turned his gaze towards the girl that almost killed the poor man that attempted to aid him seconds ago. At first he arced an eyebrow, wondering how a girl with her frame was capable of weilding such a gigantic sword (let alone lifting it, even); but then he began wondering why she would do such a thing, when they seemed to be having a friendly chit-chat right before he had arrived. Zanorin then noticed that she wore no shoes and was accompanied by a tiger and a butterfly, so he simply sighed and shook his head, dismissing her as some sort of crazy hermit.
John turned and quickly took a step back as the sword was raised in his direction, his hands already in his coat. When he realized who it was though, he lowered them and tilted his head. His eyebrows slowly lowered and his stance went back to his usual relaxed one as she issued an apology.
"It's fine, 'specially since you didn't actually stab me."
So that was easily settled, now to see what the monk needed. His head turned back towards him as he suddenly remembered. Oh right, he wanted to see the Captain. He nodded in response to the monk and nudged his head towards Irelia's door, asking.
"Want me to take ya' there? She might be a bit busy, but I'm sure she won't mind. If you want I can let her know she has a guest?"
John turned and headed towards her office, she was definitely having a busy day today. That was two guests now. Though he was sure this time he wouldn't get in trouble. He stepped up to her door and knocked on it, waiting for the Captain's response patiently.

Irelia's pen dragged across the light paper she had to finish up before taking a rest from this exhausting day filled with endless encounters and events; she went through everything today: Anger, pride, happiness, tiredness, sadness and loneliness. In the end she was happy to accomplish the tasks that were given to her and to even go beyond these accomplishments, making progress in terms of training and meditation despite the obstacles that stood in her way.
The Captain finally dropped the pen in relief as the final strike of the pen ended the sentence with a dot. She looked above her shoulders and admired the beautiful rays of the sunset that were falling asleep as the night's blanket covered the body of what was left of the orange sky, before letting the bright stars of the universe embrace the silk of the skies. A smile crept across her pink dry lips, her emerald gaze was satisfied to be a witness of this majestic view that she would rarely see given that she always finished her work very late at night.
Not more than a few seconds afterward, the door whispered to her as it got knocked. Irelia turned her focus and stared at the door with a blank expression washing over her face. Now who could it be? And what would that person what? The Captain shrugged her shoulders and spoke with a firm tone to give the man the authorization to enter.
John threw a quick nod at Narra as she left. He turned his head to the door as he heard the Captain, she seemed to be in her usual mood. He slid the door open and stepped inside, giving Irelia a formal nod. His thumb pointed behind him at the monk following him.
"This nice gentleman wanted to see you."
He stepped aside allowing the monk to enter. He crossed his arms and grinned, giving a now more relaxed stance as his back pressed up against the wall. Hopefully she wouldn't mind another visitor, still though he surely wouldn't try to like karate chop the desk in half or something right? The last thing he needed was to get into any kind of trouble twice in one day. She already chided him enough for his laziness. Not that it was his fault, no. Naps are an important part of a young man's life. He had proof too, from someone with a degree... Namely himself. Which in reality doesn't count for shit.

The man joined his palms in front of his chest and bowed in a solemn reverence. He remained in that position for a few seconds before straightening his back and resting his gaze on the captain. His warm smile had vanished, making way for a more serious expression.

The Captain's eyes widen up as she recognized the man who set his feet in her office. She immediately stood up, her shoulders were straight as she gave him the salute before bowing back calmly. She never thought she'd meet him one day nor she had an idea of why he came to see her specifically. She crossed her hands behind her back as remained in a perfect stance, staring back into the man's eyes with a straight face.
"It is an honor to see you here, please do make yourself at home."
Irelia smiled warmly, waiting for the man to take a seat before doing so out of respect.

The man walked forward to stand before Irelia, who managed to remain an imposing and majestic figure despite her warm smile and relaxed stance. He firmly gripped the hilt of the wooden sword on his back, letting the spotless white rope that held it strapped across his back slip off his figure. With a quick flick of his wrist, the sword performed a full circle before loudly smacking against his open left palm, which had until now faced upwards awaiting the sword. Zanorin's right knee bent while his left foot slid backwards across the floor, causing him to get down on his left knee. His head bowed and gazed into the floor, while his hands arms raised, presenting the blade to Irelia. The blade itself was nothing extraordinary - it was but a training sword carved out of bamboos, with Hirana's symbol etched on the hilt.
While some may have not been able to grasp the metaphor behind this act, Zanorin knew full well Irelia would be able to understand its meaning - his blade was now at her service. If in these dark times, Ionia were in peril, then Zanorin would rise and stand with Irelia, and every monk in Hirana would rise with him.

The mirrors of her spirit gazed at the wooden sword that was presented to her with grace and honor. Her warm smile remained static over her lips as she picked the sword from his hands and clenched it firmly while she examined closely the symbol of the Hirana Monastery before placing it down on her desk.
Irelia felt even more confident and reassured, knowing that she has more allies standing beside her in order to protect Ionia from the lurking darkness that were starting to invade it slowly, sapping away the balance that maintained the peace between the citizens of the majestic island. She perfectly knew and was aware that, by herself, she stood no chance to stop any of the evil forces, considering how strong and armed they were. Thus why she needed allies to help her liberate the lands from the dark abyss that was beckoning.
The Captain remained on her feet, staring at the man calmly without saying a word before turning her focus to her student. Her emerald gaze fixed John for a few seconds, letting the cold silence dominate the room before she finally ruptured it and asked her student with a firm tone.
John stood up against the wall, paying some attention but mostly keeping to himself. He flipped a single coin between his fingers and hummed a light tune before he felt that familiar stare upon him. He slowly smiled and his gaze met hers. He stood a bit straighter and more at attention as he stayed silent.
"I actually have no clue, pretty sure he's a monk though, and has to remain silent but I don't the exact reason why."
A slight shrug after his response as he stood waiting. He wasn't exactly sure what had happened. But from what he could tell it had to be some type of ritual, or pledge? Probably a pledge. If anything it probably had to do with Noxus and whatever group the monk was apart of. So... From what he could tell they basically had the backing of whatever group that monk was from, which is good from what he could tell.
He then realized he still had the coin in his hand quickly pocketed it, a cheeky grin on his face.

Zanorin would remain kneeled for a few seconds after the captain took the blade, his gaze fixated on the floor. Only after Irelia spoke did he rise again, keeping his hands covered with his sleeves in front of his chest. When John blatantly showcased his ignorance, he simply looked at him and bowed his head, as if substracting importance from the matter.

A glint of annoyance sparkled in Irelia's emerald gems as they glared at John intently, though it was simply mere annoyance on behalf of his ignorance, she thought that maybe a slap or two would do the trick for not knowing who was this man. However, the Captain kept her high stance as she crossed her hands behind her back and lifted up her shoulders, taking a deep breath of the air that whirled around them.
"This is the famous monk that is at the head of the Hirana Monastery."
Her eyes shifted over to the monk who stood before her, pointing at him as she spoke with her tone that was rather cold. A smile crept over her lips as she gave a polite nod to the monk and turned her focus to John. Her eyes were like the cold steel of her blades as she looked at the man; an aura of strength leaked out of her orbs while they remained fixed over John before she gave out an order.
"Go and warm yourself up at the court along with the other guards... I have prepared a training course for today and I will need you all for a certain speech."
It wasn't long before more of the view of Ionia came into view. The massive Placidium coming in view once more. "We're here." She said Diachi before they dropped in the middle of the Placidium. She sat Diachi down and looked around, her eyes scanning for the Will of the Blades.
