Irelia was about to give the next go for her last guard before noticing a female figure dashing through the course. She watched her swift movements and noted every single technique she used to make it through the course with her sharp senses of observation.
As much as she impressed the Captain with her performance -Irelia frowned and eyed the stranger who interrupted the test so rudely Surely she was skilled, but the Captain didn't appreciate her sudden appearance. She noticed John who was standing next to her and gave him the cold gaze that would petrify any of her guards because of how intimidating it was. It was the kind of gaze where she would say.
"Explain to me what is going on, because I am not very pleased with this."
John's jaw slowly dropped as he watched Narra run through the course, th-that wasn't what he expected. Hopefully this doesn't look bad for him. That's when he felt imaginary daggers stabbing into him. Yup, the Captain was not pleased. A slow gulp and he exhaled, turning to face his possible doom. He sheepishly grinned in a way she was probably used to by now. He then instinctively rubbed the back of his neck as he explained.
"Weeeell, she wanted to see you..."
A pause, it was obvious he was thinking every word closely. Those emeralds while pretty were also looking at him in a manner that said, "I could stab you right now and you wouldn't even know it." Which gave him more than enough reason to think things through.
"And when I mean see you, I mean... Meet you."
More pausing, his eyes glanced away to help him think, then oriented themselves back to Irelia.
"Though I didn't expect this turn of events."
His arms went behind him and one hand went into the other as he stood straight, regaining his confidence, even while under imaginary dagger fire. He now had a silent hope that the exclamation was considered good. God only knows what kind of punishment a terrible one would give, maybe running around the Placidium... Or the whole island of Ionia. He had a nightmare about that last one once. She was also laughing hysterically as she gave the order, which was odd considering he was sure she's never laughed in such a matter before.

Narra finished the course without any problems, twice as fast as the last guard. She almost slipped towards the end but she quickly recovered her balance. The slip was because she wanted to do it the fastest she could. She got off from the course, barely sweating and smiled a wide smile. It has been a long time since she had actual action, not since that raid she helped a village to quell.
Narra skipped toward John and Irelia, picking her sword up on the way. Holding the scabbard with her left hand she approached Irelia, seeing her annoyed look she smirked. Oh how Narra loved to get on people's nerves. She knew she wouldn't get hurt. Hurting innocent people would be unlike the captain of the guards, she was sure. She listened to John's mumbling and giggled to herself, moving next to him.
"Excuse me Miss Irelia?" Narra said to Irelia cheerfully. She never had much fun in her last days of constant sailing. This exercise got her blood pumping. "I simply skipped into the course because I was bored. I was sailing the past few days from Valoran to here and I was reaaaaally bored. I hope you don't mind that, right?
By the way, my name is Narra, Narra Pasium. These are Sara and Savion." Narra pointed to the Tiger and the butterfly that rested on it in turn. It was a strange and uncommon event when a butterfly sat on a tiger's head. Even more uncommon then the fact that a tiger walked into the Placidium just liked that. "And I wanted to talk to you. As of late, the villages in central Valoran do not need me anymore because they based their defenses so I came to see what I can do for my homeland." Narra gave a smile that was three things. Cheerful, sassy and dangerous.

The sun blinded the Captain for a few seconds as her emerald gaze's attention was caught by the woman's voice. She sensed an aura of strength and strong will emerging from her chords as Narra spoke, and Irelia perceived the strength within this woman's heart.
The golden star finally toned down its strength as it started to dive in the horizon, leaving an orange veil behind its path in the skies. The birds returned to sing together, appeasing the air with their soft melody that whirled along with the wind. Irelia took a deep breath, filling her lungs with the fresh air that surrounded them before she dismissed her guards with a simple gesture of her right hand. One by one they left, each one of them staring at the mysterious woman curiously, not worried by the presence of the feline beast along her side, before their body vanished as they entered the Placidium.
The captain's sword was levitating next to her the whole time, gazing upon the beast and the butterfly that accompanied the young woman before letting out an aggressive steel gnarl, as if it was threatening them. However, Irelia managed to calm the distrustful blades before focusing once more on the woman with her glacial gaze.
"You were impressive, I will have to admit that."
Rang her icy voice in the air as she let the words slip out of her lips.
"So you came here to offer something for your homelands? An interesting path if I do say so myself. However, your strength and spiritual will are truly valuable to simply be one of my guards... I am not saying they are unworthy men, on the contrary they are really strong warriors with a powerful mind, but they still have a lot to learn compared to you."
She paused her voice for a bit, staring into Narra's eyes before she carried on.
"However, Ionia does indeed have some problems lately with the Order of Shadows and the sudden appearance of Noxian troops in the north... Perhaps you would be a good addition to my special unit. What do you think?"
Sara growled at the blades, unaffected by the possible threats to stand down. She saw Irelia on the league of legends, she knew how dangerous she was, but she was not one to stand down. Not even in her incident. Savion simply flied to Narra's shoulder, he must've been afraid himself.
Narra seemed to be unmoved by Irelia's tone. It would take a mountain cut to scare her. She did wait patiently for all that Irelia said, her smile never fading. When Irelia finished she sighed and took a deep breath. The air around her was as clear as a piece of ice in the Freljord, she liked that a lot in Ionia.
Narra unsheathed her sword from the scabbard and stuck it in the ground, then leaned on it. The blade itself was as long as her, the hilt as long as her head. Narra smiled at Irelia as she complimented her.
I've been reading that you are terrifying, but you actually inspire me. I'm flattered by your compliments Irelia, but I can't really do anything with them. We should go somewhere private, I think my story would interest you. If not, I would not want to simply join a unit. I want to train, I want to get stronger and wiser. My life did not let me study under a trainer master for too long and I'm afraid that I am under-trained in many things.
Sara..." Narra points to her tiger. "...Taught me how to use the bow and arrow, but otherwise my master in the art of the sword did not finish training me all I should have known. I mastered but 1 fighting style out of many that I should have.
My actual request was, if you could teach me more."
While the two talked, John on the other hand, decided to just let his mind wander for awhile. Of course he was still paying half-attention to the conversation but there wasn't much to add. He wasn't really thinking about anything of importance really. Just random things to keep his mind awake. That's when he heard a sound...That came from Irelia's blade? He tilted his head and eyed the blade. His hand went up to his chin and rubbed it in thought. Interesting though, it's like everyday he learns something new. His thoughts went back to his own blade, or well the one given to him. He pulled out the Ionian knife and once again looked it over, he still couldn't get over the design of it. A smile slowly formed as he stared at the dragon on the edge. Still so much to learn about it even after a month. He let out a low chuckle and sheathed it.
He crossed his arms and glanced over at the two. An eyebrow arched as he heard Narra talk about her tiger teaching her how to use a bow and arrow. Wait...What.. It was almost like something in his brain skipped a beat. A quick shrug and he finally decided to speak again.
"Huh... Interesting."

Irelia observed the woman with her sharp eyes as she listened to her story carefully. As much as she wanted to teach her everything her father taught her as well as what she has taught herself, she just could not do it... John was already a hassle to deal with because of his clumsiness and dreamy personality. The Captain needed help these days to deal with the foolish ninjas who decided to plot against the Ionian people and she indeed needed allies.
Diving in the depth of her thoughts, Irelia crossed her arms and inhaled the fresh air of the blossoming spring once more as it danced around her, grasping the scent of the wet barks and the flowers that were blooming in the nearby colorful gardens. Her mind and her blades spoke to her as she thought out the situation and tried to figure a way to deal with this. Her pink lips cracked open, the birds suddenly stopped singing as if they didn't want to interrupt the captain while she spoke with a sincere tone.
"I may be able to teach you, but I have conditions for such things. You may not want to serve anyone but as we say, everything comes with a price. I will teach you everything I practically know, but I need you to offer me your aid and services in the name of Ionia during the teaching period."
Irelia didn't wait for any answer, she gathered her papers together and turned her back, facing the door that led to the hallways of the Placidium before she spoke her final words.
"I will be heading to my office, the choice is yours Narra, if you accept, come by and knock on the door, if not; well then it is your life and own will, I will not restrain you."
And with those words slipping out of her lips, she walked away. Her feet made no noise as she vanished in the hallways of the structure; the birds began to sing once more as she left the court, and were joined by the whispers of the spring breeze that swept across the empty court.
Narra crossed her hands. Arrogance came easily to champions it seemed. She might be skilled with the blade but there were other masters in the arts of fighting around Runeterra. Still, she made a long way here and she was not about to back down, not for a champion anyway. Narra looked at the blades before Irelia turned. She could sense a presence of a soul in them. The history of champions was usually a common knowledge for those in the cities but Narra did not know much about the champions, being in the wild most of the time. She smiled as the Captain of the Ionia turned her back. "Now that's a strong person", she said to herself as she walked calmly after her, her own footsteps make no sound to speak of even though she was sure that Irelia felt her.
As Irelia was about to close her door to her office, Narra placed her bare foot on the door, stopping it from closing.
"As should be expected from my side. What's life if you can't break a few bones of those that would harm others from time to time? I fight both for others and for the mere sport that is in the efforts. Of course, I would require quarters for me and my friends." Narra said with an unimpressed voice. Irelia was yet to prove herself to be frighting her. Sara was walking behind Narra all the time, making no footsteps of her own. Should Irelia turn to Narra she would see her petting Sara with her right hand, and on her left hand, Savion rested his wings on her index finger.
Narra smiled to Irelia, this one was an innocent one that anyone would possibly fall for, but after a few moments she changed it to a more devious and dangerous one.

Discipline, respect and honor... One of them seemed missing in this person's aura and it clearly displeased Irelia as she frowned and threw an icy gaze at the woman who stood by her. The Captain made sure that her thoughts were crystal clear as her emerald eyes laid upon Narra's figure. However, the Ionian Captain simply nodded and decided to offer her a quarter for the sake of it, her help might indeed be valuable to her even though she didn't share the same thoughts as the wild woman when it came to fighting and battles.
The Captain remained silent, much like a dead person. Her cold eyes simply narrowed down the hallways as she pointed with her finger at a door who stood alone in between the walls.
"Your quarter is there. Make yourself comfortable."
After giving out her words, she would turn her attention to the tiger that was sitting next to the woman. She arched her eyebrows as her eyes stared into the tiger's, challenging it with her icy gaze menacingly. Her expression remained as it was, frosted, emotionless, and fearless. A feline like that was not much of a worry for Irelia if it ever decided to jump on her instinctively, and if it will, she can easily chop the animal limb by limb without any mercy.
Putting her thoughts aside, Irelia resumed her walk towards her desk and sat down on the wooden chair. The cracking noises of the wood underneath her growled loudly within the room. Without waiting any further, she placed the papers she was using earlier properly on her desk and began to write a summary of the session along with a few personal notes for later on. A heavy silence reigned over the room, but it was broken by the scratching sound of the paper underneath the pen's pressure.
John watched the two walk inside, and stretched his arms out wide. Part of him thought of following the two, but might as well give the Captain a bit of a break, for now he just walked around outside, enjoying the sun. He reached into his coat and pulled out his staff, extending it out and idly twirling it around. His head bobbed lightly almost mesmerized by the action. He continued to spin it in his hands. Faster and faster.
His speed slowed and he retracted and stowed it away. He sat down on the floor and grabbed his battery pack from his back, might as well check it over. His finger flicked at the gauge and he tugged at the wires making sure they were firmly connected still. He laid it down next to him and shifted his backpack up to his head, laying down and lazily grabbing the battery pack once again, continuing to check it over as his mind wandered.
"I bet that cold gaze could even give Noxus's Master Tactician a chill." She thought to herself, but instead of showing fear, she just grinned the whole conversation. She was not intimidated by Irelia at all, quite the opposite, in fact Narra felt even more confident than ever. She pet Sara and strode down the hallway, passed her new room and walked towards the courtyard.
At the courtyard she noted John, the man who welcomed her to the Placidium but she completely ignored him. Why bother the man, he looked as if he was about to faint when Irelia confronted him. Instead, Narra took out her bow and stood 50 meters away from the target. She nudged a 78 cm long arrow. The arrow had a sharp steel tip and the feathers were hawk feathers. She drew the arrow as long as her arm could and savored the slight pain from the exercise that lingered on her shoulder. After a 2 seconds she released the arrow, striking through the target and hitting an inch close to the bullseye. Without pause, she repeated the process with a similar arrow, only this time she closed her eyes before releasing. She opened her eyes and their color was a bit brighter, her arrow was inflicted with electricity that was so intense that it seemed as if the metallic tip was about to burst. She released the arrow and it traveled at an incredible speed to the target.
Narra stretched her hands backward and walked toward the target, bow in hand. She examined her handiwork, the wood was burnt all around and where the bullseye was, a hole existed. Behind the target, on the stone wall, her arrow was stuck. The metal tip was embedded in the wall, the wooden shaft was gone. She smiled and dropped her bow and her No-Dachi to the ground and sat down with her legs crossed. She closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths, calming herself after her exhausting use of magic.
Sara followed Narra and watched her all the time, growling at her posture and later laying next to her when she started meditating. Savion was resting his wings on Narra's head the whole time.

Wooden sandals clicked against the marble stairs leading up to the Placidium. A man dressed in long orange robes printed with a red bear paw symbol into view. Straped across his back seemed to hang a sword within a wooden scabbard. His hands were joined in front of his chest, covered by the long orange sleeves of his garment.
Despite the long climb, the man did not seem tired at all. His steps were calm and uniform, much like the expression on his face. His head turned to one side to catch a glimpse of what seemed to be an archer, a man and a tiger, but he seemed unaffected by the sight. The monk would simply walk across the main gate unless stopped by someone or something.
John leaned his head up as he watched the girl fire off her bow. She was a good shot it seemed. Then the second one came and... The hell just happened? It was like a reminder of why he needed more gadgets and things. He was about to get up and ask her what it was that she did but, whatever she did must have tired her out or something. He pondered for a few seconds asking anyway but, it would probably be best not to interrupt her meditation. His eyes went back to his battery pack as he stared at it. Looked like it could use some powering up. His hand grabbed the trigger and squeezed a few times as the gauge filled back up to full, a satisfied smirk forming on his face.
That was when John noticed the man in orange walking past. He pushed himself up with his free hand and set the battery pack back onto his back(oh boy). He steadily walked himself over towards him and once close enough, calmly asked.
"Greetings, what brings you here? Anything I can do to help?"

Zanorin halted his steps and turned to face the man that greeted him. He would bow his head and warmly smile at the man before uncovering one of his hands and pointing at Irelia's office door, which happened to be visible from the hallway. The man then covered his arms with his sleeves again and looked John in the eye, as if waiting for something.
Narra broke her meditation the second she heard John. She opened her eyes, grabbed her sword, unsheathed it and pointed the edge at John in an instant. She recovered herself after a moment and held her blade back, looking at her feet embarrassed.
"Oh... Sorry."
Narra turned to the man dressed in orange and wondered to herself.
