The Order of Shadow had now risen to power and controlled much land throughout Ionia. The followers of the way of the shadow had returned to where it's technique originated, the Kinkou temple. After Zed's victory over the might Kinkou, he had begun using it as his base of operations. It's training grounds were now in constant use as new recruits were brought in every day, the Order would grow strong and convert Ionia if left unchecked.
Zed stood upon a tree, watching over his long lost home, he had only just arrived here yesterday, after a trip with his new apprentice from Noxus. It was early in the morning, the sun casting long shadows upon the temple and it's grounds. This was the perfect time for ninja's to train their shadow techniques and many practiced on the grounds with their clones. It was rare for someone to take so easily to the way of shadow as Zed had, he could control many clones while still maintaining great focus.
He scanned the open training grounds, covered with dummies, weights, thin stumps for balance and other tools. Zed searched for his apprentice it was time for her training to begin, and it would be brutal but he needed her for a plan that would come to light in time. Zed still wore his mask, a rumor that was quite popular amongst the trainee's was that he never took it off, even sleeping with it.

His new apprentice would be no where to be found. In fact, she was likely still snoozing from the long, and daunting events that had taken place over the past few days. Skylark curled up tightly and hid beneath whatever blankets she may have obtained for her sleeping roll. No doubt she wouldn't have her own room, so in all likeliness, she just ignored anyone's prods or pokes through the early morning or set her tiger upon them so she might be left alone.

Zed sent his shadow's to scout the area, they jumped in and out of buildings, silent in their search. Zed grumbled to himself atop his tree, he figured this would happen, she either ran away or was still asleep or something of the sort. Zed swapped places with a shadow standing outside her tent, she did not have the privilege of a permanent residence as of yet.
Zed looked in to see her still trying to sleep, he leveled a disapproving glare at Skylark. "Get up." He growled. Zed was not too angered with her at the moment, she had gone through a lot in the past days. However he was still going to be stern about being late for training. "I expect you to be ready in five minutes." With that he walked out of the large tent and towards the sparring arena to watch his regular students.

"Ugh... Five more minutes of sleep.." Sky mumbled as she pulled the blanket tighter around her, "..mmph.." Falling back into slumber. She was rather.. reluctant to get up. She never liked early mornings, dangit!
When Zed left, her eye would slowly open with the other remaining closed, glaring a little towards the exit of the tent. A little prize tossed at him, flipping him off when he departed. Sky rolled over again and quietly fell back asleep.

Zed stopped immediately at the hand gesture, his shadow forming behind him and informing him of what Skylark had done. He turned to look down at her again, a slight growl escaping him. He quickly formed a shadow portal on the ground next to Skylark, a distant roar could be heard from within it. Two clones formed beside Skylark, they began rolling her into the portal.
"You will learn to respect your master."

Sky felt herself starting to roll, poking her head out quickly from the blanket to focus on the - oh hell.
"AH! W-WAIT!" She tried to punch the shadows that were rolling her, or grab onto anything she might of their forms. if they had to physically touch her, it wouldn't be unlikely she could also physically touch them.
"I'LL GET UP!" She yelled out as she tried to scramble from the sheets and away from the portal.

The shadows ceased pushing Skylark into the portal, the portal itself collapsed in on itself, sealing off the shadow realm. "That makes three minutes, you'd best hurry." Zed grumbled before leaving the tent, the shadow clones flowing into his shadow.
A warm breeze blew through the open area of the sparring arena, two students fought in the center of it. Zed had made his way to sit on a small bleacher made of wood, he leaned back with his arms crossed, watching the spar. The two students were both male with wiry bodies, muscled but thin at the same time. Their shadows dueled along with them, fighting with hand to hand combat.
His new apprentice should arrive any second now he thought, he silently hoped she would be like his last, only here to stay this time.

Sky rushed forward as she wound the bandages along the length of her long braid to keep it as tidy as could be. Wrapped locks of hair with intricate beads would gently dance around the edges of her slightly pale skin. She wore the same black coat she had before, long with frog clasps running down the front only accenting her slender frame further. Her pants were the same, worn and re-patched ones she often was found in, with the same boots in similar condition.
As she would arrive, the wind would kick up a bit tossing the long lower flaps of the coat about softly. Her arms folding, and her expression falling into a look of mild boredom as she watched the other students spar. Shadows? Lame. Her general disinterest was fairly apparent.

Zed shifted his head to see Skylark's approach, he did not care for her clothing, as long as she could move freely in it. His eyes still seemed to glow as bright as they did in the dark basement where they first met. They drilled into Skylark, although due to his mask it was almost impossible to tell what he was thinking. "Do not be late again."
He got down from the bleachers and looked down at Skylark, seeing her bored look. "Make one of your origami creatures." He commanded, he was determined to prove the power of the shadows to this girl. "Any of them."

She followed behind Zed off the bleachers, letting her nimble movements show all the more with each refined movement. All the training she'd had, and all the experience she'd received her life really fueled the grace she held.
Sky pulled a small, flat piece of paper from within her coat and began to fold it into what appeared to be a dragon. She didn't look at Zed as she did this. Each fold would be infused with magic unique to her, and her family, allowing it to bring a sense of life to the origami.
As it completed, she'd toss it to the ground and waited.

"I forgot to mention something, your name will be Mei from now on, your title Kage no Arashi." Zed said absentmindedly while focusing on the origami on the ground. His arms moved like fluid as he did a technique similar to his portal forming, the origami's shadow began elongating. Soon it split into five other pieces, all of them pitch black shadow clones, Zed looked to Skylark when he was finished.
"One benefit of learning my technique is that it can adapt to any situation. Although I cannot, you will be able to also clone the powers of your origami, even morph them to their dark opposites and create something new." Zed flicked his arm blade in and out twice, a habit of his when in thought. He was waiting for the outburst that would almost undoubtedly come from Skylark about her new name. None took to the names well at first, but soon they became part of who they were.

Her eyebrow twitched slightly at the new name. It was almost the same as her original name.. But~ "Dark?" She questioned, "Why not just give me my old name back? It was Mai." She'd watch the shadows as they elongated and turned into clones, giving them a plain look as they did so.
Nothing surprised her anymore.. Least not in this sense. With her old training, and now this she felt a sort of numbness dwelling inside of her. She knew she had no choice but to learn, and listen. That was drilled into her the first time she was taken and taught.

"From what I've seen of you, Mai was never a name that would suit you, Mei is your new name, no arguments." Declared Zed, a darker tone in his voice, he had picked quite the rebellious student. "A better title than most, Mei."
Zed again flicked his blades open and closed, something clearly on his mind. "Tell me, why were you in the manor? You were not following orders and I know that, but why would you enter the home of one of the most dangerous men in Valoran?" If Mei listened carefully enough she would hear the tiniest bit of concern in his voice. However almost drowning that concern out was his curiosity.

"Why not." Mei said flatly in response, keeping her arms folded as she watched the little dragon origami sit there. It'd turn its head slightly to look at its owner, as if waiting for a command. She'd frown a hint, then kneel to scoop it back up even caressing it as if it were a pet.

"I'm going to ask again, and you're going to give me the full answer, or I will follow through on Swain and I's agreement." Zed glared down at Skylark, clear menace in his eyes, "Why were you in Swain's manor?" Zed fully intended on killing her if she did not answer, to emphasize this he unsheathed an arm blade and held it to her throat. "Speak."
