A roar blasted through the rolling hills as another creature rose over the hill opposite the one Sky stood on. This creature was also just as jet black as the others but it stood a tall eight feet. It had six arms running up and down it's body which was actually quite thick, but obviously muscled. It's eyes glowed with a deep red, and the light splashed out in front of it almost like spotlights. It's eyes narrowed as the light flashed over the two creatures in front of Sky, it no doubt had murderous intent for them.
The two creatures turned upon the light, suddenly mesmerized by it, they stood and stared at the monster that now began marching towards them. It was going to eat them, a natural predator of these creatures.

Slowly Sky would turn at the sound of the roar to witness the creature coming over the hill towards them. She'd pause to glance back at the two shadows, both seeming to be.. in awe? What was this? It looked dangerous. Why weren't they running? Something felt off, causing her to drop the origami back into her hand with her other pulling a second from behind the knot of her inner sash.
The pirate slowly stepped closer to the other creature, her eyes focusing upon it though she was ever alert to the beings behind her just in case they made an attempt to attack her from behind. The first origami was thrown down in front of the creature, causing the large tiger to explode into life. It's maw opened with a hiss. The second - a snail, which she'd throw down at the creature's feet to slow it's movement before sending the tiger in for an attack.
The tiger lunged towards the monster's face, trying to maul it and blind it so it'd be easier for Sky to take down.

The monster roared as the tiger jumped at it, it reached up with two of it's long arms to try to grab the feline and control it. It's eyes no longer ensnared the smaller creatures and they quickly ran and hid. There was almost no sign of them now, they had fled until this monster was dealt with.
The monster roared even more as it felt itself become slow and clunky, it tried to throw the tiger away from itself, preferably at Sky herself.

When the creature was slowed and launched the tiger back towards her, it'd twist its body allowing for her to leap up and run along its huge frame to close the distance towards the monster's face. She'd withdraw a set of four smaller origami in the shape of four pointed stars, each with a bit of twine attached.
Her nimble movement would take her onto the creature's body if possible, throwing one star towards its face, another the back of its head, and the other two at its shoulders near its neck. If she were to manage this, she'd quickly leap from its back with the twine pinched between her index finger and thumb. The origami would, if they made contact, become the actual weapon and likely embed into the creature.
The twine would be practically invisible, especially in the shadow lands they were in at the moment.

The monster again roared as Sky now assaulted him, the weapons burrowing into it's flesh. It flailed about trying to dislodge them and to keep Sky off of it. It was surprised when it felt a pulling from behind it, and it tried it's best to resist it. It spun around and swung it's long arms at Skylark, large claws sweeping in the air at her.
The other creatures who had fled now hid over a hill, their heads just above the edge. They watched the battle and were fascinated by Sky's bravery and strength.

As the creature spun around, Sky would still be mid-air with a new origami retrieved from within her coat. She'd press it against the twines she held, and grinned cheekily as the origami embedded into the creature would suddenly explode. The positioning of each were intentional - the front and back of the head intended to blind, if not kill it with the explosions. But the final two at the base of the neck, were intended to blow its head off should the first two not do there job. It was overkill.
The claws however, would find their mark despite her clever attack. She'd feel her jacket sliced open, and blood pooling into the front of it from her torso. She'd roughly slam into the ground, tumbling about painfully until coming to a stop. Unfortunately for the pirate, she wasn't particularly strong physically. She'd slowly push herself to a stand, her arm crossing over her torso with her other hung loose at her sides. Heavily breathing from the sting of the injuries.

The monster roared before it's cry was cut short, it's head now messily removed from it's shoulders. The ground shook slightly as it came crashing down, the light it provided was now gone, and everything was black once again.
The creatures from before reappeared over the hill, they rushed to were Sky was standing, they presented no hostility. The one who had copied her early started a short conversation with the other, the grunts again echoing out. It finally turned and faced Sky, looking her dead in the eyes, surprisingly it spoke quite clearly, "Human, you have proven your strength to us, I would be honored to serve you in the realm of light."
These creatures had known why Sky was here from the start, they were the original shadow clones that Zed summoned. They were an actual species that could travel back with their masters and help them. Often times they asked for a display of strength before being willing to serve but Sky had already preformed this feat. The one speaking preformed a bow and the other stepped back and looked down. "Please accept my offer." It asked of her.

Sky pressed her hand against the bloodied wounds in her torso as she stood there, blinking in surprise at that little plan working. She'd smirk faintly, pausing upon spotting the two shadows approaching her. A slight tilt of her head would be her response to the bow, with an eyebrow rising up, "Uh.. Yeah sure." Wincing as she instinctively went to bow in response. "Urgh. Okay don't bow to me... Ow.."
She'd look a bit confused as she glanced around, "Okay.. So.. I guess we leave then?"

The creature tilted it's head at Sky as she winced, shadows did not know pain like humans did. It reached out a hand lightly touching her should and seemed to slowly mold into her before disappearing. Sure enough runes began forming on the ground in front of Sky, and soon a portal back to the human world was created.
Zed's voice rang through the portal, "Well done, your first shadow is yours to control, enjoy your new found power."

"Okay~" She said with that same bored look as she'd step through the portal to exit the shadow realm.
"So... Now what?" She questioned Zed with her arms folding somewhat impatiently. "Can I leave yet? Or am I doomed to be bored out of my mind stuck here for eternity?"

Zed looked down at Sky, his eyes unwavering even at her jabs, "You are free to do as you wish, however if I call on you, you will answer and you will obey. If not, I simply send my brethren to kill you, or bring to back to be... punished depending on the infraction."
With that Zed turned to walk out of the room, Sky was free to do as she wish until she was called upon.
