THE SUMMONER’S BAKERY, A Light Hearted Adventure

The ranged attacks seemed to find purchase, as Garth's explosive round found itself lodged in the moving creature's arm and exploded, blowing off a chunk of fried dough and spilling some of the thick tomato based filling, a parody of blood and guts. The arrow fared only slightly less, the impact causing the creature to pause a moment as it 'bled'.

It retaliated by launching a stream of that tomato sauce directly in Garth's direction, the sauce likely landing to strike an area. But, not only was the sauce still boiling hot- it seemed corrosive enough to melt through the stone!

Meanwhile, as more townsfolk were being taken away, two more Calzone golems came out of the cauldrons, bloated creatures filled with the magically enhanced sauce.

"Mmmph!" The girl that was being dragged finally came to, when some of the corrosive Calzone sauce spilled onto her arm, causing her to cry out in pain. It was fairly clear she wanted to be freed; she had a deep vermilion dyed hair, and judging from her movements a warrior. She looked at Dani and gestured her cut her loose.

Meanwhile, the three calzone golems faced off against the two ranged opponents, the one pelted with arrows being knocked back further by the force of the shafts embedding themselves in it, spilling more corrosive sauce onto the wooden floor. It clumsily stepped into the hole that formed and fell down, though not breaking. Slowly, it started to recover, but this was hard lacking an arm.

The other two, still fairly strong, continued their medium ranged barrage, spewing corrosive sauce across the preparation room towards the archer and the rifleman, filling the air again with the aroma of pizza- tomato, cheese, vegetables and meat. It had little accuracy, but its slightest touch was corrosive, and it covered an area.

The dough men continued their labor in dragging townsfolk away, avoiding Dani and her ability to slice them up like... dough.

Dani looked forward, predatorial instinct kicking in, realizing that the warrior was powerful. She could always just fight them all after this misadventure. She leaned forward and cut the bonds loose, extending a hand to the warrior.

She grinned. "Hi! Im Dani! Who are you?" She asked cheerfully.

The girl stood up, simply confused at Dani's question. She had precious little time to spare, and had no capability to defeat these creatures on her own. She looked at the large, cooked creatures spewing their corrosive innards towards a pair of warriors- likely come to the aid of the townsfolk.

The explosive round once more inflicted terrible damage, bringing the calzone creature down, leaving only one more standing. The arrow strikes further disoriented them, ruining what little aiming skill they had.

The girl looked around amongst the townsfolk- she cursed, not finding the person she was looking for. She rushed past Dani towards the remaining Calzone creature. She ran around the table and leapt, then flew into a flying drop kick that caught the shambling creature completely by surprise; it toppled down onto the pool of corrosive sauce made by its two companions, and it seemed their exteriors were not immune to their own sauces.

The sluggish creature tried to get up, but Caerys shoved a large rolling pin into its 'head', tossing the wooden object aside when it punctured and began dissolving. Standing triumphant on her foe, she looked at the two who where engaging them.

"We don't have much time! Some of the people are already being sent to the ovens!"Caerys shouted, and gestured them to follow.

Garth heard Sara's concern, and grew slightly angry, "Are you really bothering me about that now? There are people's lives on the line! Take your knife and go help them." He barked, hoping his bullets did enough damage to the escaping dough men's legs. He took out the empty clip and placed a new one into it. This was his last fresh clip, so he had to use it wisely.

When Dani put her hands up and made a comment about losing her weapon Garth wanted to face palm, but instead flipped his rifle around. Fine...if the other two weren't going to do it, he would do it himself. He charged the dough men and would swing the stock of his rifle like a club at their legs when he got close enough to them.
