Cho'Gath looked back for only a moment to notice the Nexus completion, the call of the void seemingly snuffed and what remained was all they were getting unless.... He looked back to the mountain peak. The aurora borealis hung in the sky above it like a crown, void magic would cancel this what these summoners had done. Their magic is primitive to what the void contains, it will crack their nexus like a egg. This was their goal, the village being only an OBSTACLE.
He was indefinitely large, easily spotted from the village and recognizable by even the worst eye. He finally reached the base of the mountain, finding himself looking up. This will not be as fast as he would like... He began his accent of the peak using his scythes and feet to grip onto the mountain, using all his energy to keep to the top as quick as possible. Those fools back there will be attempting to finish off what remains of the void, clueless to what will be happening. Of course, there is still the problem of those who perhaps pursued him...

A familiar yet unearthly roar instantly tore Anivia’s attention from the scuffles of the frontlines. There was only one creature on the planet that could make such a sound: Cho’Gath. Her vision set upon the the elephant beast and was instantly brought back to their last meeting in Icathia. Before her very eyes, the summoner she promise to keep safe was summarily devoured whole. With the sounds of rending flesh echoing in her mind, she left the defenders to their battle - the warriors could fight for themselves.
Mighty flaps of her crystalline wings bore her swiftly toward that behemoth, her eyes blazing with anger. His retreat from the battle was no object to her. This was Freljord: nowhere he could run would be safe from the anger of the realm. The mighty clouds around the great Freljordian summit began to swirl as the Cryophoenix approached.
Cho'Gath continued his climb unopposed, turning his head back only to see the barbarian reinforcements join the battle. Those fools are too late he thought, quickly speeding up.
Eventually he arrived at the summit, looking up at the sky then down over the battle. His head was filled with whispers of the void....the breach was strong here, the void clawed to get in. He let out a low growl, more of a sigh, and void energies began to crackle around him while he spoke. His voice projected to the entirety of the battlefield, drilling into the ears of attackers and defenders alike.
" throd uh'e. Ytharanak shogg ph'gahh sgn'wahl."
The the entirety of the Freljord trembled all at once, a large purple beam shot up into the sky from the peak. What appeared to be a portal began to appear in the sky over the mountain. His voice grew louder as he progressed through the mountains corruption.
" Hai hrii vulgtlagln shogg. Ch'chtenff c'bthnk."
The sky darkened and shimmered, almost as if reality itself was tearing itself apart above them. The entire mountain began to crackle with purple electricity, the snow itself turning a dark shade of purple with the red blob that is Cho'Gath at the top. The beam proceeded to grow larger, the sky above it slowly tearing open more to reveal a realm that none could fathom. A place of horror to any who looked upon it with hungry eyes wanting to gain entrance.
" Wgah'n shugg uln syha'h uaaah! "
The beam began to turn into a ball looking to burst upon the mountain, growing in size by the moment. The sky begun to turn a dark shade of purple, the aroreas that hung over the mountain hanging like a dark halo above it. The sun itself was blotted out and could not break through. The ground would tremble once again, the nexus the summoners had placed beginning to be overcharged and overwhelmed by an unknown magic. A voice that was not Cho'Gaths spoke next with simple words that were spoken on the voids arrival. A dark and terrible voice that struck fear into those who's ears it reached.
" Slagothh myk'rah'ah tishogg'd amaghazht."
The Freljord trembled, all sound ceased to be only to be broken by a slicing nose that twisted and contorted the sky into a deep purple shade. The void energy that was contained on the mountain was released with loud boom that shook the very ground and knocked human and void to the ground alike. Animals touched by the stream dropped down and were slowly consumed by the taint. Bodies were slowly degraded into a purple mist. The snow itself began to turn a dark purple shade as the wave crashed over the Freljord. All humans affected would find it difficult to breath, a sinister constriction that could affect the weak minded.
The summoners Nexus began to attempt to stop this new power in a failing battle. The summoners could try their hardest to save the crystal....but may be consumed by the stream of void energy pouring into it. The crystal starting to shimmer a deep purple and trebled under these magics older than time itself. The minds of the summoners would feel and old and terrible power began to claw at their sanity, attempting to drive them mad. Luckily they have some of the most seniors summoners at hand.
Void creatures touched by the void would feel empowered, stronger. Even the simplest voidling could put up a crippling fight. The creatures pressed the assault with new found power and the will to consume all that stood in the voids path.
After the initial blast and shock, reality itself here began to tear apart. The men defending began to see things that were not there, the void clawing at their very minds. If the men could not shut it out...ignore its call. They would all be consumed by it. Cho'Gath did not expect them to fall easily...barbarians and champions are strong willed as they are tough.
Cho'Gath watched over this with an insatiable hunger, the void has arrived. Runeterra would fall under their might.
He let out one loud roar over the battle, void forces cackling in a sort of cheer after.

Anivia rapidly closed the distance between herself and the terror with nothing but the open air between them. She shook her head in disbelief as he came to rest on the summit of the greatest of the Freljordian mountains. The easiest of targets. Piercing winter winds began to whip about his body as the storm descended around him.
" throd uh'e. Ytharanak shogg ph'gahh sgn'wahl."
The foul voice echoed not through the land, but from somewhere else. Somewhere that could not exist. Anivia hesitated, unsure whether she should launch her attack as an earth-splitting beam of void energy burst forth from the mountain’s core. Anivia recoiled as that pain of the earth screamed through her mind.
" Hai hrii vulgtlagln shogg. Ch'chtenff c'bthnk."
The crackling purple beam stretched down from the sky, from the mouth of the vortex that Cho'Gath's tainted words created. Born of Oblivion, the energy coursed down into the earth, cracking the mountain where it struck, shaking the very foundation of the world. The snows hardened to ice, went black beneath the glow of its corruption. A shriek, the cry of steam, rose up from cracks in the peak, as though the very plane were crying out in agony. And Cho'gath stood above it all, speaking sinister incantations to the sky. Anivia was knew that this was her only chance to prevent the Void from taking root in the Freljord.
" Wgah'n shugg uln syha'h uaaah! "
The sky itself warped, shifting into strange purple hues as the Void’s emptiness began to consume both land and sky. Anivia was forced to dig deep into her own reserves of power, pulling the thinning air toward her form. The winds swirled faster and faster as they condensed upon themselves, solidifying into shimmering orb. One blast was all she needed to freeze the monster in his tracks and contain the emptiness of the void. With a thrust of her wings she unleashed the elemental power.
" Slagothh myk'rah'ah tishogg'd amaghazht."
A thick fog exploded around Anivia, strangely illuminated with a shimmering array of prismatic light. No. The next beat of her wings cleared the air, the strange barrier that suddenly surrounded her entirely unscathed by the magical force. What is this power? She reached out to maintain the storm that had settled upon the mountaintop, but could feel nothing. The earth, the ice, and the winds that whispered the secrets of the land day and night were silent to her, just as the screaming pain of the dying world vanished from her mind.
Wrapped in an aurora of shielding force, the Cryophoenix was cut off from the world itself, the eternal fount of her elemental power. Powerless to affect the Void’s incursion, she could only watch on in abject horror as the strength of the Void began to overwhelm and consume her frozen home. This was no portal to allow travel from one plane to the next. This was the corruption of the Void itself, claiming a new foothold on Runeterra.
Anivia caught his eye, but, otherwise ignored her. Beginning to speak to the phoenix instead of attacking. She appeared to be no threat..
" Gaze upon true power, this is what will become of your world. Accept it for what is is and you will be raised above these petty mortals. Or you may die like the ants they are, do you feel how useless you are? Watching your home DIE. Accept the inevitable and fade into the void." He said calmly, giving off a laugh at the sight below.
Regular men were beginning to be cut down by void forces, the stronger troops in the back finally made it to the front of the line. They were large and terrible, their forms almost like the ogyr creature the knight rode on and others being snake like creature that spat acid at those defending the walls, melting them almost instantly.. Even the medics machine guns barely affected the beasts as they advanced. They stood in front of the fire and began to advance with the smaller Voidlings cackling behind them, others began to smash down the winter claw walls. Voidlings crawling up and jumping into the village, slaughtering anything human without another thought. The screams of the fallen prevailing in the valley like a dark chorus.
If something was not done...the void would consume all who remained.

Anivia continued to hover in place, biding her time and energy. She could only assume that the prismatic barrier that surrounded her was some new void power, blocking her ability to commune with world. Her talons clenched and unclenched in frustration at the Terror’s taunts. Had he truly become so powerful as to render her very presence meaningless? The sky began to shift once more as the summoner’s rune magic took hold. She hardly had time to turn toward the source before a blast of power unlike anything she had ever experience ripped through the Freljord, smashing her body into rock face of a neighboring mountain with enough force to send fractures throughout her crystalline body.
While the afterimages golden light blurred her vision, Anivia heard a noise that instantly set her mind at ease. This might be her final fight, the end of Runeterra itself, but the ice of the mountains sang its song to her once more. Snow groaned as it shifted and settled beneath her, while the mountain winds whistled through her icy feathers. At last, she was home, and would give her all to defend it.
She winced as she pulled herself to her feet once more. The fractures she had been dealt may not have been enough to destroy her body, but she could feel the searing lines of pain with each movement. The corrupted peak stood before her once more, its horrific shades of purple glowing ominously in the darkened sky.Yet at the summit, her enemy had vanished. The battlefield was much the same. Warriors and spellcasters alike pulled themselves up from the mingling blood and purple void ichor, but no creatures of that foul realm remained on the battlefield.
One wing splayed gingerly across the pristine surface of the loosely packed snow. Despite the glowing blue fissures that ran through its length, the wing was complete. The second follows, swinging through its full range of motion. Though damaged, it was whole. The Phoenix would fly, but not swiftly. With a grimace of pain, Anivia lept into the air to glide toward the defiled mountain. As she drew nearer, she could almost feel it pulse with unnatural energy, sapping the strength from her already wearied body. A faint grunt accompanied the gusts of wind as she lighted upon a rocky outcropping just above the fringe, yet bereft of that unseemly power. The enemy must be known.
Thrusting one wing forward, she summoned a shard of ice and thrust it toward the land below her. With a dull thud, it sank halfway into the corrupted earth, standing upright as a pillar of light against a sickly purple backdrop. Then the corruption began to shift. A thin tendril of luminous purple slime leapt up from the soil, clinging to the surface of the ice. As Anivia watched on in horrified fascination a second followed, and multitudes after ripping their way through the untouched surface until nothing remained. This is nothing that she would be able to stop on her own, even at the peak of her power.
With a heavy heart, she leapt into the air once more, but not before a ghastly tendril grasped the end of a single talon. Try as she might to scrape the the ichor from her body, a darkened sheen remained. She clenched both talons against the realization of a grave mistake as the sensation of heat began to grow. With as much haste as she could muster, Anivia flew from the battlefield and towards the heart of the Freljord. The humans would have to end their own battles, for her time was running short.
