Jayce wouldn't take it. His face screwed up into a mix of anger and pride. "... Hmm... Lop, engage using your Quick Attack! Try dodging any of Machamp's attacks with it! If he lands a hit on you, just use your Jump Kick on its head!"

Lopunny rapidly strikes with a quick attack, dealing 6 damage (4+3+3-5) and using 2 energy! Machamp decides to not attack and instead spends 7 energy to focus on pumping up her muscles, which become enveloped by a red aura! (+1 Atk and Def for this round)
Lopunny now attacks with a powerful Jump Kick, dealing 8 damage (10+3-5) and using 6 energy. Machamp takes advantage of the fact that Lopunny is right on top of her and demolishes her with a Close Combat, dealing a massive 28 ([12+3+6-3] * 1,5) damage while expending 8 energy. Machamp's defenses are reduced as a direct result.
Lopunny prepares its Fire Punch, but Machamp strikes hard and fast with a Bullet Punch, dealing 9 damage (4+6-3) and spending 4 energy. Lopunny then executes the Fire Punch, spending 8 energy in the process, dealing 8 damage (8+3-3). The attack sadly (or thankfully!) does not burn Machamp.

Jayce clenched his fist, but decided not to let his anger get the best of him. He took a deep breath, before putting his hand down to his sides, sitting cross-legged on the ground.
"Lop, I know you can do this. Use your Quick Attack to get close, then use your Drain Punch on him. After that, use your Sky Uppercut!"
Jayce's hand moved to his Pokemon belt once again...

Vi gave a quick 'tsk' with her mouth. "Aight, Machamp. Use Smack Down on Lopunny if she tries to get close! Then use Scary Face, and follow up with Dynamic Punch!"
She then cupped her hands around her mouth and shouted across the arena again. "Getting scared, Juice?"

Lop quickly jumps across the battlefield, hitting Machamp with a Quick Attack that deals 6 damage (4+3+3-5) and spending 2 energy. Immediately after the attack, Machamp grabs Lop with two of his arms and drives her into the ground, attacking with a critical Smack Down that dealt 10 damage ([5+3]+5-3). The force of the impact made Lopunny feel especially heavy.
Lop then got on her feet and hit Machamp with a Drain Punch, dealing 6 damage (8+3-5) to Machamp. Her fist absorbed some of Machamp's energy, effectively healing 3 HP to Lopunny. This attack is rather exhausting, however, and drains 12 energy from Lop. Machamp decides to intimidate Lopunny with a Scary Face this turn, expending 6 energy. Machamp's fearful visage scares Lopunny shitless, cutting her speed in half for the reminder of the round!
Machamp takes advantage of Lopunny's sluggishness and lack of ability to jump too high to deliver a destructive barrage of fists - her signature move, DynamicPunch! The attack deals an astounding 23 damage ([10+3+5-3]*1,5), drains 7 energy from Machamp and applies slight confusion (2 turns) to Loppuny! Lop then manages to keep her head straight and attack (-1 turn left). She attacks with a Sky Uppercut straight to Machamp's Jaw. Lop attempts to bring Machamp into the air with the force of the attack, but the effects of Machamp's SmackDown prevent it, lessening the amount of damage inflicted. In the end, the uppercut deals 5 damage ([9+3-4]-3), and drains 6 energy from Lop.
After the round, Lopunny's speed is restored, and Machamp's defenses return to normal.

Vi laughed. "Alright, Machamp! Way to go! Let's finish this up with Seismic Toss! If Lopunny is still fighting after that, use Focus Energy and then Vital Throw!" She pumped her fist excitedly. This was going well for her.

Yes. Too well. That was to be expected, after all. Jayce's entire team was at an disadvantage. "Hrm... Lop, return for now!" Jayce sent out Lop's pokeball, and returned her into it. He then sent out Pory on to the battle, his teeth clenched.

Vi remembered that Pory knows a psychic move. Machamp would not do too well because of it, especially with No Guard. "Alright, Machamp, nice job. You can return now."
As Machamp came back, she threw out a different Pokeball. "Aight, Riolu! Lets see what you can do out here!" Riolu vaulted out of her Pokeball and did a quick handstand, rolling onto her feet and taking a light-footed stance b

Jayce rolled his eyes, taking note of the situation. "If Riolu is a fighting type..." Jayce nodded to Pory, his eyes flaring with hope. Perhaps he might be able to turn the tides. "Pory, use your Psychic on Riolu, followed by a Psyshock! Then, finish off with your Zen Headbutt!"

Just before PorygonZ can finalize its Psychic attack, Riolu starts moving at breackneck speeds. Her technique leaves behind three identical clones at the cost of 12 energy, which mimic her moves to perfection! Pory, confused, attempts to push one of the four Riolu against the ceiling, but it attacked a clone! The attack drains 6 energy.
Riolu then joins her palms and shoots them outwards, releasing a Vacuum Wave towards PorygonZ! The attack deals 11 damage ([4+3+2-2]*1,5) and uses up 3 energy! Porygon then tears off some chunks off the floor and throws them towards one of the Riolu! Unfortunately, the attack hits one of the fake ones (6 energy lost)!
Pory, having only 2 Riolu left to strike, uses charges its head with psychic energies and darts towards one of the two! Sadly, the attack goes past the last of Riolu's clones. The real Riolu focuses his aura energy into his palms and then shoots it out in the shape of an Aura Sphere, aimed at Pory. The attack deals an astounding 18 damage ([9+3+2-2]*1,5) for the relatively low price of 6 energy.
