Vi flinched as Riolu took those huge hits. "You okay, Riolu?" When Riolu got up, she smiled. "Tough little gal, eh? Alright, then!" She jabbed outwards with her gauntlet. "Use Vacuum Wave, and follow up with Copycat! And then, well..." She gave Riolu a look. Hopefully she'd be able to take this. "...well, use Counter after that! C'mon, Riolu! You can do it!"

Riolu releases a Vacuum Wave from her palms towards Pory, dealing 11 damage ([4+3+2-2]*1,5) and draining 3 energy. Pory expends 12 energy to reconfigure itself into a healthier state, regaining 20 HP.
Riolu manages to learn about PorygonZ's reconfigurating patterns on the fly and adjusts them to his own metabolism, also recovering 20 HP for 13 energy. Porygon then smashes Riolu against the stadium's walls with a powerful Psychic for 20 damage ([[6+2]+7-2]*1,5) (-6 energy).
Porygon utilizes its last energies to Tackle Riolu, dealing 6 damage (3+2+3-2) for 3 energy. Riolu attempts to execute a Counter, but is too tired for it!
Both combatants seem to be against the ropes!

Vi panicked slightly. "Riolu!" She almost stepped out of her place, but held herself back. Popping out Riolu's Pokeball, she directed it at her. "Alright, Riolu, you need a nice, long rest. You fought well."
As the Pokeball was placed back in her Gauntlet, another one popped out. This one was in a premier ball, though; it was Vi's secret weapon. "Alright, Heracross!" she cried, throwing the premier ball into the air. "Let's show Juice just what our power combo can do!" Heracross would fly out of its Pokeball, taking to the air for a moment before landing on the ground. "Alright, Heracross, let's DO this!"

Vi initiates a Pokémon Switch! Jayce now has the opportunity to change Pokémon. If he does, he'll have to play first turn. If he doesn't, Vi will have to develop her strategy first.
