Taric sat at his desk, like he does every morning while he was Piltover, and sipped some freshly brewed tea as he gazed out the window at the landscape of the city.It appeared to be another quiet day again, which he didn't mind at all. His workshop here was where he would teach prospective students about gems and the magic they held within, and how they corresponded with the earth itself.
It wasn't a large workshop, thirty feet by thirty feet. There were a few tables here and there that held various jewelers tools and related equipment. The various shelves that lined the walls held all manner of precious stones behind enchanted glass cases. Some were uncut, in their raw form. Others were cut in a variety of styles. There were even some set into various pieces , from decorative vases to a copy of his hammer.Near his desk sat a dummy which wore his trade mark blue armor when he wasn't wearing, his hammer leaning against the wall near it within easy reach of the gem knight. Off to the side there was a door to his private chambers, which remained locked at all times. One would normally assume that is were he kept his spare equipment, but whatever else was in there was a mystery to everyone, and he would like to keep it that way.
This day was the same as others when he was at the academy it would seem, he would open up the shop and await prospective students, work on his own projects, accept requests for his aid, and/or send away those who were too nosy for their own good. And if there were no students after a few days, which was pretty much most of the time, he would don his arms and armor and pursuit his true purpose, wandering the land aiding those in need of his help.
He brushed some of his bangs from his blue eyes and looked at the busy streets below.
"I wonder if anyone will show up today?"
He continued to drink his tea and mused to himself silently as he gazed at the landscape of the city of progress.
