Marcus stepped out of the back of the bar after hearing Renektons intimidating voice. It was good for business to have a notable person such as the large crocodile to come to the bar on the first day of its opening. "Blood and vodka is quite good actually. Sort of makes it like a spicy varient of the blood. Little on the thick side though." His words regarded the champion and his sister at once. Ignoring most of the other customers. It was his sisters bar, she was the hospitality. Marcus was more of a... Bouncer, of sorts.
Marcus scoffed at the mans surprise, the mention of blood seemed to freeze him in his seat. A moment of weakness like that spelled certain death in a battle. But this was not a battle, and his harsh attitude wouldn't help the mood of the new bar. "You realize what we are don't you?" He raised an eyebrow in amusement. His eyes darted to a small refrigerator in the bottom of the bar cabinet area. He walked over and opened it, pulling a small vial out from the cool box. He popped the cap off and slurped down the blood. Raising it above his mouth so the crimson liquid spilled out for all to see. Cold blood satisfied him quite nicely. Its the reason why he stored in a fridge at home. Cool blood was quite like a sort of ice cream to him. When he had devoured the final drop of the lifeblood of he and his sister, he rinsed the blood out in a sink separate from where they did dishes for the bar. and placed it back in the fridge.
Just because I'm an assassin doesn't mean I can't have some fun, I'll be alive for a long time after all.
A wide grin found its way onto Ray's face as he watched James tumble on the ground. Of course nobody could see it due to his mask. However, the silent chuckles could easily be heard by his other partner. Moving his feet to the side of the table, he looked at Kin. Something seemed off about her. Now that he thought about it, she did mention something about not wanting to come to Noxus. In an attempt to break her nervous look, he spoke out to her. "Kin. Why don't you get a drink and relax a bit, you look tense."
A jingling of coins could be heard as his hand went into his pocket. He pulled out enough so that she could buy whatever she wanted from the bar's selection. "Its on me."
Ray wasn't sure if Kin drank, the situation had never arisen for him to find out. He began to wonder what kind of drunk she would be...angry drunk...for sure.

Had Kin been in any other city, she would have at least taken notice of the giant reptilian creature that had crawled its way into the bar. Furthermore, she certainly would have realized that he was a Champion of the League and that he could potentially, if even looked at the wrong way, brutally murder them all. But as it stood, her mind was neither here nor there. She simply glanced at the green-hued scales then turned her gaze back to table she was attempting to dig her nails in.
When another voice joined the fray, Kin glanced up. She watched with little interest as the rather ashy faced male tipped a tube of ruby red liquid into his mouth. Despite the implication as to what that substance actually was, Kin wasn't all too surprised. She almost expected Noxus to be infested with... things like this. She half shrugged to herself before turning to Ray.
"I'm not tense."
Her voice came out rather terse, borderline snappish. Her back was rigid as she spiraled a stray strand of hair around her finger before tugging down sharply. "I also don't drink." However, a pearly streaked hand reached out and caught the coins under her palm. Kin scooped them up, rattling the chair as she stood. "But I'll get you something."
She paused, then shrugged again, mostly to herself. "Or I'll just keep this." Without waiting for Ray to respond, Kin weaved her way around the table and towards the counter where the reptile, James and some other man sat. She did not take a seat, she simply set the coins on the table and waited for the bartender to come over. Kin wasn't an expert at drinks. Not in the slightest and it showed in the way she looked both tense and nervous at the same time.

As the man--or whatever he happened to be--to his right fell out of his chair, the Butcher did not hide the vicious looking smirk that had crept over his face, revealing his jagged incisors. The champion never tired of the varying responses he engendered from those witnessing himself up close, and personal, for the first time. He turned his head slightly to the right to address James, and with his reptilian eyes drilling into the man, he noted dryly, "This is Noxus. You should expect no less."
Turning his attention back to Marcus and Marcy, his face became serious once again. He nodded a solemn greeting to Marcus, after the vampire had explained about blood and vodka but before he had downed a vial of blood himself. His eyes narrowed in contemplation, his mind conjecturing what blood mixed with vodka would taste like. He certainly had never had it anywhere else before, since fresh blood was hard to come by, even though he did enjoy it himself. Perhaps he had stumbled into the right bar today.
After a moment, he replied, "I will have this mix of blood with vodka. I leave it to your capable selves to figure out the proportions to mix together since you know from experience."--and to Marcy he stated, his voice betraying a hint of humor--"And yes, the biggest tankard you have would be best. Or else, it would barely be mouthful for myself."

James proceeded to get back into his seat and nodded to the woman behind the counter. "I'm fine, just got a little spooked is all." Though he said this in a matter of fact tone James was actually sweating underneath his hood, just being in the presence of this... thing that could most likely snap him like a twig terrified him. Why would such a creature be here... But in that same moment his curiosity kicked him, where did this creature come from? Was it a slave to the high command maybe? Some horrific experiment from their mages and necromancers gone wrong?
Seemingly lost in thought he didn't snap back to reality until Renekton had addressed him and given him what he took as a menacing stare, a chill went up his spine and he hesitated to respond to him. Yet, he took a deep breath before meeting Renekton's eye's with his own.
"Pardon me... sir, but in my day no one in Noxus would've thought of something such as yourself even existing. It's only natural I be shocked, but with that being said... what exactly ARE you? I'm genuinely curious." What he said was true, there wasn't any ill will intended in his words. He simply wanted his curiosity satisfied and a nice drink, as well as all of his vital organs intact... but that was just wishful thinking.

Vergil squinted a little to try and see what Marcus was doing then he realized exactly who he was talking to. "Oh I see now, that actually isn't very suspicious or shocking at all once you think about it." Vergil actually hasn't been getting much sleep lately so his awareness was down quite a bit, had the lighting been better people would probably notice how sleepy he actually looked. He returned to his drink and let the gloom set in.
Marcy laughed as Vergil asked why they would have blood in the bar, he obviously hadn't noticed that she and her brother were Vampires. It might have been because he was tired or something like that. "Dear," She said and placed her hand on his, smiling enough to show her fangs, "I'm a Vampire, I need the blood to survive. And don't worry, I wont bite you." She said and turned around to see her brother walk in.
"Oh, Hello Marcus." She said and gave him a brief hug before turning around again, she looked at Renekton and began wondering what they had that could satisfy a demi-god. As her brother talked she listened to him and listened to Renekton once her brother had finished. "I don't think we have a tankard that big... but we could just mix down the blood into the Bottle if that's enough for you." She said with slight confusion.
Looking at James that now sat down in his seat again, she turned around and took out a simple drinking glass and filled it with cold water before handing it to James, "Your outfit looks awfully hot, you might want to take it off." She suggested, she had just turned around again as he began speaking to Renekton. Marcy had heard rumors of what he was capable of, and now that she had gotten a close look at him, she didn't doubt it at all. She bit her lip and prepared for the worst, in case Renekton decided to fight James or something along those lines.
She noticed the clang on coins hitting the counter coming from behind her and turned around. There was another one who wore a mask, this time the girl. She made her way over there to her with a smile, constantly keeping an eye on Renekton in the corner of her eye as she approached the girl. "Hello, Miss. What can I do for you?"

Kin shifted slightly, uncomfortable at the way the conversation was headed. She had half a mind to just drag James and Ray out. She'd be more than willing to take her chances with Ionia - at least they didn't have blood-sucking vampires there. Or at least, she hoped they didn't. However, her far-from-subtle call for attention had been noticed and it was far too late to back out now. She was grateful that the mask meant she did not have to fake a smile, though she did have to force the nail-biting tenseness from her voice.
"Yes, hello. I'd like to order a drink," Kin paused. Duh, that was obvious. She tried again, coughing under her breath. "Do you happen to serve anything... fruit based?" The Ionian female frowned, almost as if thinking about this physically hurt her. Though that was not quite the problem, Kin had zero experience with alcohol that wasn't called 'sake'. A few seconds ticked by before she tried again, pulling a name from her memory. "An... apple mar...martini?" Thank the heavens her mask covered her cheeks; she could feel them flaming beneath the soft cloth. "I understand if not," she quickly added.
But even with her mind on the fact that the bartender may very well just tell her to get out, her attention had been pulled towards James. It seemed he had engaged in a rather dangerous conversation with the reptile. James' curiosity usually got the better of him, and Kin could not remember the last time it had ended up well. Her hand slipped off the counter, resting on her side. It never hurt to be too cautious, especially where an overgrown, scaled creature was concerned.
Kin shifted her eyes back towards the vampire, unable to help lingering on her mouth. Did they have sharp, vicious fangs like in the age-old legends? They certainly had the pale complexion and vivid red eyes. The ears too, largely reminiscent of a bat's or... some other mythical humanoid. But this was not her area of expertise and she quickly shrugged off the captivation. Her gaze lifted before falling to the coins and nudging them forward with a low and simple mutter of "Thanks."

Marcus nodded at the Large hulk sitting in the bar. A smirk crossed his lips, the crocodile did indeed drink blood. This had been a question Marcus had pondered several times. Obviously a normal crocodile would eat animals raw. But Renekton was neither ordinary nor a crocodile. He was a Demi God from another realm of existence. Marcus reached under the counter and pulled out a large bottle of vodka that Marcus had been saving for a special occasion in his own home. But the Occasion had never come, and he was beginning to suspect it might never happen. So he cracked open the lid and retrieved a vial of blood from his cooler, pouring in half of the contents of the vial into the bottle. This would make it feel somewhat like a jelly in his mouth, atleast that was his opinion. Although as he said, it did burn. So if there was a pepper jelly, it would most likely taste somewhat like this. But Marcus was sure the Champion could handle it. He passed the mixture to the Large figure. "Here you go. This is how much I mix together. Tell me what you think."

Renekton ignored James' inquiries for the moment. The Butcher would respond at his own convenience. James was fortunate the demigod had changed since his arrival to Noxus. Under any other circumstances, such questions would have invariably led to Renekton's legendary rage getting the best of him, leading to further complications, mostly for everyone else but himself. It would have been easy to simply reach out and crush the man's skull with one hand. He had done it before, and it posed little challenge. As it was, the Culling Blade's eyes flared dangerously, hinting at the fury boiling just beneath his scales. Instead of lashing out however, he merely waited silently until Marcus had prepared his drink, and took it with a nod of thanks.
But before he partook of his drink, he now turned to James, regarding him with a baleful glare. He looked the mage over once, peering deeper than his mere appearance and into his soul. What he saw did not impress him. Though his soul was not particularly dark, he was just another corrupt human being, craving ever more power, and the perks which came along with it. Pathetic. Regardless, Renekton replied in voice clearly revealing his annoyance and contained rage, "In your day? Where have you been to miss the most corrupt institution in Valoran, the Institute of War? I am Renekton, and they brought me to this world, making me--temporarily--one of their 'champions'"
Renekton practically spat out the word champion, showing his contempt and distaste for the word. Continuing, he stated, in a calmer tone, though still angry at James, "I was a god, and I was destined to rule my home. But now I am stuck with your lot... for the time being."
Having replied to James, he turned back to the task at hand. Throwing back his head and opening his giant maw, revealing his jagged incisors, he poured half of the contents of the bottle into his mouth, before setting it down onto the counter with a dull clink. Snapping his jaws shut, his savored the concoction of blood and alcohol, staring off above Marcus' head. Finally, after a few swishes back and forth in his mouth, Renekton swallowed. Letting out a guttural and deep throated sigh--though it sounded more like a half-roar--of pleasure, he grinned viciously, looking quite feral in the process. Holding up the bottle in his hand, and gesturing with it, the Butcher addressed Marcus, commenting, "This is spicy indeed. I like it. Tell me, what kind of blood did you use?"
Marcy smiled and nodded at the girls request, "Sure thing, sweetie." Marcy had noticed how Yamizawa had been stuttering slightly, she couldn't be that old she thought and turned around, beginning to take out a new bottle of Vodka, this time a Noxian brand and some apple juice, "I'm not the best at making these." She turned around and grabbed the shaker, pouring in what she deemed enough. "So, if you think it's too strong, lemme know."
Marcy shook it for a moment before pouring it up in a small glass for the girl, "Here you go." She smiled and looked over at Renekton, "I believe that's Piltovian, if I'm not mistaken." She replied to his question about the blood. Marcy leaned back against the desk behind her with a broad smile on her face. "Oh, I just remembered something. Marcus, when is the shipment from Ionia coming?" She asked and looked at him.

"It'll be fine," Kin said, watching the process with a watchful gaze. Though the female vampire did not seem all too intimidating, it was not in her nature to throw caution to the wind. She made sure that no pills or strange, red looking liquids would make their way into the drink and once the beverage was all shaken and stirred, she nodded. "Thank you." She grasped the glass between her palms, eyes shifting downwards to inspect the contents. When she was satisfied that there was no suspicious fizzing, Kin turned.
However, with her back to the counter, she overheard the woman's words. Ionia? Shipment? Kin wasn't aware that Ionia had been trading with Noxus, not counting the Shadow Order... perhaps that was what they meant? This place was growing more and more shady and if Kin was any more tense, she would have snapped in half. She considered turning to question the bartender, before realizing that it would not be the most prudent of decisions.
So, she decided instead to keep her eyes and ears on the door and on the other customers. She managed to make her way back to the table, sliding the drink towards Ray before taking a seat with a sigh. Leaning forward, she rubbed her fingers into her wrist, almost as if the veins ached. "They mentioned Ionia," Kin said softly, her gaze upturned towards the Piltovian male's mask. "A shipment."
Ray was inspecting his rifle when Kin returned to the table. His head tilted a tad when she brought back the drink. An apple martini? This couldn't be for him. "I thought you said you don't drink, cause i know you didn't get that for me."
Slinging his rifle back behind him, he listened to Kin as she spoke. He leaned in a bit so he'd actually be able to understand what she was saying. "A shipment from Ionia? What about it? They're probably just importing drinks from all foreign city-states. Not a bad idea if you ask me."
He hadn't heard the announcement that the two owners were vampires, nor did he see them drink the stored blood. "You need to calm down, just because they're Noxian doesn't mean they are up to something bad."
Looking over Kin's shoulder, he inspected both the owners as well as the giant reptile and the other man sitting at the counter. "Out of everyone in here, I'd say we are the worst of the bunch."
Pulling back the bolt of his rifle, he loaded in a stun round. "Better safe than sorry" he thought to himself.

Kin pressed her lips together, "I don't drink," she said, clicking her tongue lightly. "If you don't like it, you can take it back or buy your own drink." Kin tapped her fingers against the table, taking another look at the beverage. It did seem a little feminine, now that she was able to inspect it a little more carefully. "It suits you anyway." She mentioned, though only in passing as her eyes narrowed.
"On the contrary, I think it's a little unlikely that any Ionian would do business with a Noxian. They would be risking a lot, and this bar doesn't seem like a... high end establishment." Kin shrugged. She admitted that she was not a professional when it came to business and the like, and she certainly had to admit that it was possible that 'drinks' was all it was. Yet, she knew that there was also a possibility that it was something else.
"Ray, it's comparable to if Zaun and Piltover did business together. Nobody wants to help out a city that almost destroyed their home." Kin grumbled, "None of the self-respecting ones anyway." She stretched her fingers out against the table, shrugging. "Not just because they're Noxian. See that reptile over there? He's drinking blood. See the two bartenders?" She leaned forward was more, "They've got a bit of a palette for the stuff too."
Kin could not help but snort derisively at Ray's comment. "So if that crocodile attacks us, you're volunteering yourself as tribute?" She grinned beneath the cloth that covered her lower face, "I will be sure to keep that in mind." In truth, Kin knew she was being a little more than 'just paranoid', but there was no harm in being overly suspicious.

Marcus smiled as Renekton drank his mixture of blood and vodka. His face seeming to light up at the taste. He let out a chuckle as Renekton asked for the blood in the vodka. Nodding at his sisters comment of it being a piltovian. "Went there about a week or two ago." Marcus leaned against the counter and was about to comment on the different flavors between Piltovians between living districts when Marcy asked about a shipment. "Ionia? Oh right. Should be here in a few days. Having a middle man trader takes a little bit longer than just a boat ya know. Most Ionians aren't too keen on supplying Noxians with anything." He smirked and nodded his head at the vodka in Renekton's grasp. "Even if it's just alcohol." He shook his head and laughed lightly. "But my sister has to have alcohol from everywhere in Valoran doesn't she?" Looking back up at his sister he smiled widely and crossed his arms over his chest.
