"Keep track of everything that happens? No my dove, that would be rather impossible." She smiles softly and rests an elbow on her bar before cupping her chin and supporting it as she gazed at the boy, "It was all hypothetical, too many people within our lovely City-State to watch..." She raised her eyebrow tapping her lip with the long black nail of her pink, "Where have you been that you have missed all the wonder and glory hmm?"

Jay just shook his head a bit. "Just traveling abroad, took longer than I expected. Bilgewater, Zaun, even the Institute of War." He chuckled. "I could tell you anything you want about what's going on anywhere but Noxus." He paused when a thought crossed his mind. "You better not be some traveler just leading me on. Or am I just being too rude to get anywhere? Bilgewater rubbed off on me a bit."

"Noxian born and bred, dear." she stated whilst giving a dismissive wave to the suspicion he may have felt with her free hand while the other still supported her head, "The institute of war?" She questioned, sudden interest flickering into her eyes, "Tell me more."

Darius recognized the brand. A Noxian brewery had created what was claimed to be one of the strongest beers in Noxus. It had to do with being made with four times the amount of hops that a convention beer had been made with. But because of this it was far more expensive than any beer should possibly be. It was named for a historical Demacian platoon during one of the Rune Wars, one the Noxians had made a fuss about. ‘Destroy the 32nd!’
He saw the bottle and his curiosity rose. “A glass.” He answered simply. “How is the place running? You’re getting business, correct? It seems slow.” He thought the somewhat renown vampire singer would have attracted more attention but he could easily have been wrong in that regard.
Jericho Swain... I have heard that name before... Although it doesn't ring any more bells than that. Hmm, new ruler and Darkwill is most probably dead. I have to look more into this before I decide on my next move.
"I enjoy hanging around the other city-states, I buy different rare artifacts from every city state whenever I can... The name is Russel by the way, and yours?"
Marcy nodded as he introduced himself, not bothering to make a note of who he was, she'd remember him anyway just like she remembered every other face she saw. "Marcy, Marcy Lee. Singer, Bar owner and Vampire." She said with a warm smile before turning to the other hooded figure that had made its way to the counter.
"Of course, what can I get you?" She asked and looked at her or him. Wondering why so many wore hoods nowadays, they didn't have anything to hide, at least she thought so.
Jay had finally come home after a long stint abroad. He'd visited the Institute of War with the last of his travel funds from Scrod and Jayne, and now he was where he belonged, namely Noxus. His first order of business: find a place to forget his 'vacation.'
His hair was quite a bit longer than normal, and he sported a thick goatee and tanned features. He resigned himself to get a haircut as soon as this fiasco was over, but first he needed at least a single drink.
He'd heard tell of a new bar not far from where he lived. After checking in to make sure his apartment wasn't destroyed by the fury of Maria or something akin and to drop his gauntlet off in its casing, he took the quick walk, arriving outside the Crimson Lips bar and nodding before going in.
It was a bit cozy and new, he liked it. Making his way to the bar, he took a seat and sighed, glancing around. "Uh, hey," he said, motioning to the bartender, "can I get a beer? Nothing special, just the cheapest thing you have." Resting his head in his hands, he groaned and drew circles on the table with his finger.
Marcy had been standing and unpacking some of the wares that had come in during the day, nodding to the familiar voice. "Sure, just let me pack this up first." She replied and continued to move the bottles from the box and into the cabinet. Taking out one of the cheaper brands from one of the boxes she opened the bottle and poured the content into a glass just as Lady Amarills walked in.
Marcy leaned down and finished unpacking the rest of the bottles and then walked out the back with the box before returning into the bar. Smiling she looked at the two talking, looking a lot more on the man who seemed oddly familiar.
Handing Jay his glass she turned to Amarills. "What can I get you, Ma'am?" Marcy asked and smiled at her, knowing that they've had to wait for her to finish unpacking.

Marcy nodded and turned around to take out one of the larger glasses from the cabinet behind her, nodding again to Darius' question.
"Well, usually it's a lot more in here, but today has been rather slow. It can be nice with a slow day once in a while, so I'm not complaining." She said and poured up the beer into the glass , tilting it a little as she filled the glass. Turning around she placed the glass in front of Darius and rested her hands on the counter behind the bar counter.
"So, how's Noxus running? From what I can see it's going fine, but you never know, do ya?" She asked with a smile, being quite interested to find out as the odd Zaunite had asked her about the Grand General.

Jay gave a nod and a quick smile to Marcy before freezing as she gave him his drink. He went pale for a moment and scratched his neck slightly, but then realized that she didn't recognize him. Turning to his drink and Amarillis, he took a quick sip. "Many thanks. Here." He took out a couple coins, fumbling with them for a moment before paying for the drink. He then turned back to Amarillis, leaning on his hand so that Marcy couldn't get a clear look at his face.
"Yes, I took a trip to the Institute of War. Things were different from a couple years back; the lack of Noxians was unsettling." He shook his head slightly. "While I was there, they seemed to be getting ready to go on a journey. Not sure where to, exactly, but it seemed very important, and definitely up north. 'specially the Artificers seemed in a rush." He shrugged.

Sara looks at the bartender, pulling her hood back and smiling slightly, her short hair slightly covering her eyes.
Something a bit less... noxian, if possible. Got anything like that by any chance?
She places the bow and quiver against the counter and between her legs, making sure that if anyone were to even touch them, she'd notice instantly. You could never be too sure in Noxus, anyone could be a hired blade in this city after all.
The same drinks over and over get rahter dull after all...

“I do my duty as well as any true Noxian does. I make no attempt to hide anything. The city-state remains and shall remain strong.” His eyes never pulled from her and traced every step and action as she drew one of the actions and pour the drink into the glass which filled, foamed and settled invitingly, waiting for someone to grasp its cold glass and drink it.
“As I suspected. I rather it slow. The less people the less likely a chance for people to pester me.” Though he could not blame them for approaching a man of his stature it tended to become grating. However, often they came to him like flies buzzing around refuse. Darius did not consider himself a socialite but Noxian’s tended to flock about him and tended to be inspired by his actions and his words.
“What led you to opening this tavern? I would have thought it would have caused more trouble than its worth.”
