"It seems we are all in agreement to send out spies then. I too agree with this course of action and will aide in whatever way possible." Itsuki voiced as he took a step foward, volunteering for whatever might need to be done to set the gears for the plan in motion.
"Zed is no doubt be plotting to finish what he started even as we discuss this now. He and his Shadow Order now occupy the old temple because we were caught flat footed to his assault. I feel that it would be wise for us to be prepared at all times for anything possible while we send out our spies."

"Well," began Kennen, "the forest seems like a better place. It allows for more escape routes." He turned his attention towards Itsuki. "And that's where you'll come in. Your powers can build the base quickly and efficiently. All we'll need after the basic structure is a covering of leaves and some training equipment." He paused, before adding, "We may even be able to build tunnels fro here to the forest."
He gazed out into the forest. "After the new base is finished, we can approach the VNN and the JoJwith our little announcement."
He turned back and looked at Akali.
"As for the spy ops, I leave that in your care. I trust that your instincts will guide you and your students well enough."
As Akali looked out the window once more, she scanned over the forest, mentally picturing their near future and the many ways they could go about it. She listened to Kennen's last words, and nodded.
"I understand. I won't let you down."
She then turned to Itsuki.
"But we must begin immediately. Are you sure you're up for this? I'm afraid we don't have much time." Akali then turned to the rest of the students as a whole, "I need as many as I can. I expect this base to be up and running within a day, two days max. We can begin by scouting out for suitable areas. Please keep in mind the routes, and secrecy of the area, as well as convenience."
She looked the students over.
"Any questions? Anything else to add before we leave?"
"Do not worry about me. If we require a base to be constructed, then it shall be done. Pick a location and I will begin immediately." he replied to Akali reassuringly. There was no doubt creating an entire base would be ridiculously taxing on Itsuki, but it was now his duty, meaning he would get it done no matter what.
Zen immediately once Akali asks for volunteers. "I can help with anything, gladly." He said bowing slightly to her in respect. He was willing to do what it takes so that this operation would go as smooth. He felt as if it was his obligation due to being their when the Order striked the innocent civilians within their own home. "If need be, I can start scouting out the area, see if there's anything I can fine and use to our advantage."
Akali bowed briefly to Itsuki and Zen, the first two to offer immediate extra assistance. They needed every able body they could get.
"I appreciate it. We can begin as early as tomorrow. For the time being, rest your bodies and minds in preparation for the big day ahead. At sunrise, we set out. No time to waste. Eat well, you will need the energy."
Speaking her final word, she took one last look out the window at the perfectly aligned setting sun, and only just noticed the long shadows each body made across the wooden floor. Every move. It slightly uneased her at the reminder, but she sighed and immediately left the meeting hall on her way to her room for a much needed rest. Her mind needed the most of it.

Travelling back from the Placidium proves to be no difficult task, though it would suffice to say that the azure ninja had taken detours and did not head back to the order at the very instant.
He had payed a swift and fast visit to the League itself, inquiring in regards to the ninja that he had apprehended a few monthes ago. Regrettably, all information that was given before hand exists by themselves and the case is drawn to a close, a slight bother. But nevertheless, understandable for the man he had slain was no longer in league or in relations with anyone of specific interests.
However, it has only began to disturb him once he had arrived at the residence of the ones he rescued and to receive no warm greeting or the casual exchange of words. What he did receive, was an empty house and a chaotic sight that hints at abandonment. It was quick that he darted for the officals of the league to acquire further information.
He had disappeared. Three simple words, but they bear great weight upon Shen's shoulders. The man's last known presence was on a escort mission to Ionia where his group was spotted to be annilhilated and he to be missing, the examination of their injury had proven to be razor edges and clean cuts to the throat. Difficult to handle.
It wasn't long before the League officials and the Ionian government started hurling arguments and debates over the meeting hall, the azure ninja had taken his leave and proceeded to bring such an information back to the kinkou temple, they need to take their own measures.
Strings manipulating behind the shadows, that the ninja is certain.

Kennen saw Shen approach. It had been a while since they had last spoken, and he had something that he desperately wanted to tell him. He stepped towards Shen.
"Shen, I understand that right now may not be the best time," he spoke softly, as to not interrupt the activities of the other ninjas, "but something must be done about Zed's alliance with Noxus. With the way things stand, they could easily wipe us and all of Ionia off of the map!"
He began to pace, as he always did when speaking about a serious matter. His face showed worry on the brink of fear, and his body movements were frantic, yet slowed.
"We need an ally of our own." He gazed toward the mainland of Valoran. "We currently have three options. Demacia, Piltover, and Bandle City." Kennen's brow furrowed. "Demacia is still recovering from the invasion, however. It would be best not to bother them."
Kennen gazed back at Shen. "Sorry for blabbering so long..." he said, somewhat ashamed, "what are your thoughts?"
Post by The Eye of Twilight on May 18, 2013 22:27:23 GMT -5
Perhaps their influence was deeper then he had imagined and his negotiation with the will of the blades did not accomplish much in the scheme of things.
For there would be no other reason why Kennen would approach him with the same sense of urgency that he had when he was dashing through the endless forest of Ionia to reach the placidium so as to keep Irelia informed of the current situation they face and a solution to such a problem.
"Know that Ionia stands firmly behind us and we are not without allies." Shen had given Kennen some information to calm his nerves, he was always rather energetic and behaves in such a fashion.
"Bandle city and Piltover had always been characterized in the league as states that leans towards the side of neutrality and to be unbothered by foreign affairs." Shen paused, and continued with his words.
However, that is not to say they don't lean towards our side of the spectrum, but convincing them to entirely lean towards us would be... Contradicting towards their political approaches."
"But as you have suggested, Demacia is still under siege and an alliance with them right now perhaps will prove difficult." Shen was quick to acknowledge such a statement, but was still rather fixated on one matter.

"Akali is doing well," said Kennen. He was smiling happily about the quick distraction from the grim matters upon them. "Her students have seamlessly transitioned to their new quarters and everything is operating smoothly."
"There is some bad news, though..." He said slowly, his eyes directed at the floor, "Akali spotted Lulu talking with Zed. She apparently wants revenge on me for the incident at her shop." He brought his hand onto Kusanagi, remembering what happened.
Kennen's face snapped back to the darker expression it had worn earlier. "You mentioned Bandle City as a neutral state, but they have a clear alliance with Demacia." he began, "Perhaps they could be more easily persuaded to join us. Especially if I, a Yordle, were to go."
Kennen eagerly awaited Shen's response. He disliked thinking about the war that was bound to erupt at any second.

Shen had but nodded at his remark, through Kennen beside him have seem to be optimistic about such a matter, the unresponsiveness of Zed's order troubled him.
What the Heart of Tempest have suggested in regards to his "conflict" with The Fae Sorceress had passed through his mind, for he would require a bit more detail about what has occurred in his leave. Perhaps inquiry that can be spared and moved back to another time slot...
"Bandle city would perhaps be indeed more accepting of your visit and I am rather interested in their stances towards Demacia in their current state of war. Would you be obliged to take up such a visit to the Bandle city and voice our intentions?"
His worries is not without reasons. Despite their recent talks with the Ionian guards, a dominate force lurking behind the shadows can be a bit hard to bear. But only trusting in the strengths of others is not something of equilibrium, something must also be accomplished on their end, to their own kin.

Kennen let a small grin cross his face. "It would be my pleasure" he said, "I'll get over there right away."
As he headed for an exit, though, he stopped dead in his tracks. A shocked expression came over his face, and he diverted his course to a different doorway.
"Ineedtogogetastatusreportfromakali" he said rapidly. "I'll be gone ten minutes max."
He then bolted out of the door and into the woods towards Akali's location. Zipping through the trees, he was always aware of his surroundings. Nothing would surprise him, nothing would get away unnoticed.
He came upon the cave in record time. He quickly looked around before entering, as he always would.
Akali was there, waiting for him. "Hey Akali! How are things today?"

Troubling times lie ahead. That is already certain as one can possibly tell as the iron steel of Noxus enter the familiar territory of Ionia once more. Last time in aggression, this time, in claims of assistance.
The azure ninja stares into the lofty clouds floating above him in the darkening sky. They have been driven out of their home, what Zed has accomplished have surely destroyed balance, tipped it to bring further disarray to this already conficted Runeterra. His ambition has brought new shadows to this already desolated land. The one of an elderly man on his cane, a vulture waiting to feast on a corpse. Perhaps, he may prove to fare better then the other Noxian leaders before him, to actually promise something different. uncertainty incapable of being measured, with a fatal certainty that resides within their homeland, the once temple of Kinkou, now considered a temple for the creeping shadows.
He would not consider Zed a simple foe, he thought he understood him, perhaps he did. Perhaps he did recognize his uncertainty and existent possibility for chaos and ambition with destructive capabilities. But feelings, is not something he would act on.
Droplets fell into the stone paved grounds of the training grounds, like the few days beforehand. A rainy season, one perhaps that will be filled with blood, and tears.

June 30th, 23 CLE
Kennen strolled up to the front entrance of the sanctuary area and turned around, facing the yordles that had been behind him most of the way. It had rained recently, and the ground was still somewhat moist. Water dripped from tree leafs, and birds were splashing around in small puddles on the ground.
"Welcome," said Kennen with a voice similar to that of a tour guide, "to our humble abode. Before we enter, I must ask that you do not touch ANYTHING aside from walls and doors. Everything else must be left as it is. In addition, do not interact with anyone unless they first interact with you."
He turned and walked through the entrance, motioning for the scouts and Titus to come through. "First, we'll have to find Shen and inform him of your arrival."
Kennen suddenly turned around to face the yordles again. "But before we do, does anyone have any questions?"
Post by The Swift Scout on Jun 28, 2013 16:13:11 GMT -5
Teemo and his scouts had been marching with their gear in a tight, uniform line for much of the way. Several couldn't help but glance around at their new surroundings as they walked by. They all come to an immediate halt as Kennen does, standing at attention for him and nodding when he gives orders. When they're asked about any further questions, a few whispers move up the line and reach the scout captain's ears. He nods and looks up to his fellow yordle champion, smiling to him.
"We just wanted to thank you for letting us join you here in Ionia. There are a few questions, but they're more suited for when the other Kinkou are present. Anyway, lead the way, Kennen!"
He gives a swift salute before starting to march his scouts inside.
