July 15th, 23 CLE
The Placidium still wowed Aurus every time he saw it. The shining beacon of Ionia, the heart of the country. Everyone working for true balance and fulfilment. He drank in the atmosphere was he walked the streets, heading to watch the people train and hone their arts.
Master Yi had left on business, leaving him freedom for the day, hence his trip to the Placidium. He watched monks hone their martial arts. Swordsmen swung their blades, sages meditated on their surroundings. It wasn't long before Aurus himself was caught up with the training. He crossed blades with the swordsmen, he meditated with the sages and he sparred with the monks. He knew their styles well, but there was always room for improvement and they were eager to teach.
After spending few hours training, a man ran into the sparing grounds, carrying a satchel of messages. He looked around and then asked for him. Aurus walked forwards and acknowledged the man. "You're a hard man to find. I've had this letter for almost a month now. I finally got a lead that you were in the Placidium now." He handed a envelope to him and bid him good day.
Aurus was confused. Who was sending him a letter? The monk at the temple? Master Tao? The Duchess? He opened the envelope, revealing a note and a second envelope. He read the note first.
Dear Aurus I know it has been some time since we last met and I wish I could be there in person but it isn’t safe in Ionia for me anymore. I will remain in Piltover for the time being where I will be safe. The second letter I am sending with this one is information that I ask that you hand over to the Ionian forces. With high regards, Hyna Wolf.
Wolf had sent it? That made sense that she was in Piltover now. He smiled, glad that she was safe. He looked at the second envelope, containing information that would be vital to the Ionian forces. Who would want this? One name sprang to his mind. Irelia, the Captain of the Guard.
He turned to the friends he had made in the past few hours. "Where can I find the Captain of the Guard?" he asked.

July 20th 23 CLE.
The weight on her shoulders was still heavy; for the last two days, she was still looking back at her meeting with Zed and thinking of what she should do as her next move. Perhaps it was not such a good thing, but it was the best plan she had under her hands and she had to carry on with it until she finds a way better solution for the current problem she is facing.
The Captain took a deep breath and wrote down a few notes for herself; an anguish look filling her eyes as her heart began to squirm underneath her chest while she kept thinking over and over again about that meeting that just wouldn't leave her mind for one mere second to give her a break. In the middle of the struggle, Irelia heard a knock coming from the office's door; The young Ionian woman stood up and slowly walked towards the door, wondering if it was her destiny waiting at the door... Her heart was pounding against her chest, her throat tightened up and her mouth suddenly went dry as her muscles tensed up; it was an extremely stressful moment for her. She tightly held the door's grip and opened it up, only to see a wounded ninja that seemed to be holding a letter.
In the moment of panic, the Captain grabbed the ninja and dragged him over to her office's couch before quickly getting some bandages and first-aids to heal his wounds until a nurse can check him out. She wrapped the bandages around his cuts and made sure that the bleeding stopped before she looked at the man with a worried expression. "Are you feeling alright? Who sent you here and how did you end up like this?"

60 seconds of knocking, every second being as long as a year. As if the prayer is finally being answered, the door would open before the injured man. The ninja's hand immediately thrusted for the letter, it is the essential duty that requires fuifilling...
To injure oneself in overexerting physicial pressure amongst one's movement... Well, if only he had more time to prepare himself more for the occasion, but he is one of the best left behind, now that more units have been allocated to the monitoring efforts around the Order of Shadow's vicinity. Putting them through an obstacle course was one of the thing that was mislooked, so here he is looking like an idiot in front of an official authority of the Ionian government.
Since when did the Ionian captain take care of people? Well the evidental truth is that she is before a mere vessel of a greater organisation overlooking the very injuries with a worried expression.
"This would be a letter from the Eye of Twilight himself, our dealings with the Exile event have led to a compromise in our promised daily information exchange, this is the Grandmaster's way of showing his apology, by delivering not only the newest findings, but also his analysis and matters that would perhaps require some investigation from the Ionian guards themselves. "
They weren't exactly trained for beautiful woman either...

Irelia brought a cup of water and offered it to the man as she took the letter from his hand. She briefly looked at him before she opened it up and began reading it while she said.
"You should take a rest while I read this letter, you are not ready to go outside in such state."

Firstly, what is to be offered is apologies, what is to be offered afterward is our findings. I hope you find this gesture friendly enough. The Kinkou does not wish to... Stray from it's homeland that it has been presented on for centuries.
The villagers were evidently provoked by something, no messages or information that were obtained from our reconnaissance team led to any conclusive results of a planned and strategic attack upon the Order of Shadows. Therefore, the only reasonable conclusion is that they were influenced by an outside force, what outside force could possibly benefit from this attack? The answer lies within the clear benefactor of this assault.
My presumption, who would benefit the most out of this uprising other then the Noxian forces who are now provided with a suitable reason the ally themselves with the Order of Shadows, to utilize the fear and paranoia of a village to their tactical advantage?
Attached is the statistics and data that we have gathered through our questioning of the villagers that we have managed to escort back to a safer area. Hopefully they would speak clearer then the words we are providing.
If you would take a closer survey of the Hadoi village and compare what it is beforehand, the rioting and it's aftermaths, then perhaps, it would be sufficient to lead you to a different conclusion other then... Something we were thoroughly alerted by.

"Intriguing..." Whispered the Captain as she read through the letter. She folded it and placed it in one of her desk's drawers before she looked back at the Ninja and said "Allow me to take you to the nursery; I will make sure that they would do whatever is possible to put you up in a good state again." With that said, Irelia lifted him up and placed one of his arms around her shoulders before she carried him to the nursery where she left the doctors and nurses take care of him.

It was yet another day and Irelia was having lunch with one of her guards that she also considered as a close friend. They knew one another for years, way back before she became Captain of the Ionian Guard. The young Captain savoured her meal while she exchanged a few words with her friend along with a few laughs. However, something remained on Irelia's mind... She was still feeling uncomfortable about the whole Noxian and Order of Shadows alliance and she couldn't rest as long as they remain partners. She always hoped for a day where the tables would turn and she could finally get rid of every shadow casted upon Ionia.

Aurus spent the next half hour trying to find the Captain of the Guard. He then spent another 10 minutes trying to convince them to let him speak to her. The guard led Aurus to her office, knocking on her door.
"Captain." he curtly answered. "There is a man here claiming to have information on the Noxian forces on Ionia."

Irelia looked at the guard while she listened to what he had to say. Who could be in possession of such crucial information to her? This is certainly what Irelia was waiting for the entire time and this could absolutely turn the tables in her favor. She nodded and let the man in. As Aurus entered, she stood up and looked into his eyes, as if she was analyzing him before she finally broke the silence and spoke in a rather cold voice. "How reliable is the source of your information?"

Aurus handed Irelia the envelope Wolf had sent him. It was right for her to be doubtful. False information could lead to war in this situation. But Aurus trusted that Wolf wouldn't send false information. "It came from an inside source in the Noxian forces. An Ionia women forced to serve them. I aided her in an encounter and it looks like she is repaying the favour. She's defected from Noxus and given us information on them."
He hoped she would believe him. It was a strange story to believe. He just hoped that she could see the truth to his words.

Irelia briefly frowned before she looked down at the letter that was handed to her. Her hand reached out for it and grabbed it, pulling it towards her as she kept her eyes locked on with his. She then turned her attention to the letter and walked up to her desk, before she sat down on her chair while her friend remained on the couch watching her curiously as she read through the letter. The atmosphere was rather icy and silent, the only sounds that could be heard are the whispers of the guards behind the office's door and the melody of the birds who sang outside.

The letter reads as follows:
Dear Receiver Within this letter I have disclosed information in regards to the Noxian elements within Ionia. In regards to the alliance created by the Order of Shadows and Noxus it was began be a quarrel between the Order and a nearby village. I myself saw the remnants of the village and it seemed to have been an unprovoked attack and as well the bodies seemed to have been over brutalized something less reminiscent of the orders skill in the art of silent kills. The Noxians are employing the use of hextech firearms and had been utilizing the strength of mechanically enhanced units though by my knowledge they have since been removed from Ionia or have died. I have included more info of troop numbers and a few maps. That is all I feel comfortable in sharing via this letter and I feel as though I may have shared too much should this letter fall into the wrong hands. Sincerely, Hyna.

Irelia's eyes would trail along every line written in the letter until she reached the end of it. Her eyes never left the paper as she remained in deep thoughts, trying to figure out what to do in a situation like this. She doubted that it was a good idea to tell Zed about this letter during the meeting, it would probably make him roar out a laughter and completely disregard the Captain even though she was going to try to save his life. Irelia shrugged off the thoughts and looked at her friend with a rather serious expression, they had to go out in the next few days and confirm the information that was written in this letter to make sure it was authentic.
She looked at Aurus and nodded. Indeed, the whole reasoning behind the letter seemed sincere and logical to Irelia and she had a hard time doubting his words after reading the letter. She folded it properly and placed it in her portfolio that she carefully kept in a well secured safe before she stood up and spoke. "I am extremely thankful to you for providing us this letter, it will indeed help us solve the problems that rest upon Ionia. How can I repay you and your friend for providing us this letter and taking risks?"

He was relived that she believed, He would of hated for Wolf to do this only for her to work to be discredited. Irelia looked like this was the information she was looking for.
Repayment? The thought had never crossed him mind. He had only done what he thought was right. What did he want? "I...can't think of anything to ask for. I just want to help my home best I can."
Irelia looked up at Garen's expression and understood that it was somehow a personal issue. She nodded and said.
"Very well, you may begin your search; but beware, if you kill or even hurt an Ionian citizen, I will not be happy at all."
Garen gave Irelia a courteous bow, like what he saw the other Ionians do at the port he arrived in, then turned on his heel and began to leave her office.

Irelia stared at the man for a few but long seconds before she nodded and waved to her guards to come in. "Very well, we will do our best to keep Ionia on its feet. But remember, I owe you a favor. Guards, please lead him to the exit, and if he wishes to stop by for some food or drinks, then lead him to the cafeteria and give him the best we have."
