“If you say so but I maintain my position that I did what I had to do.” He positioned his bishop on f3 gaining access to the longest diagonal and fortifying the king’s castle. “But let’s talk about “merrier” themes what can you tell me about the glorious executioner? Will I need to have any especial measures with him? Anything I should not say in front of him for example? “Stars” tend to be complicated to “handle” properly and I want him to be at his 100% on the show.”

At this, Swain snorted, rolled his eyes. His expression gradually lightened as he contemplated the board. "He enjoys pictures of his own face. Otherwise, despite his tendency towards the frivolous and flamboyant, he is duty bound and keen to serve his country. Women, ale, flattery. Easy enough to please."
After a few moments further contemplation, he slid the queenside rook directly behind her and leaned back in his chair. Another quick succession of bronchial coughs followed. Beatrice ruffled her feathers in dismay.

“Mmmm those health problems seem to be getting worse, I hope you can find me the last piece of your treatment soon enough.” Singed tone could almost be interpreted as concern mixed with a great deal of exasperation for not being able to end the concoction as soon as possible. The wretched failure was a stain to his pride as a chemist and as a scientist. He moved his own rook d1 increasing the pressure on the middle. “In truth I would like know about Renekton how is he recuperating from the wounds that I inflicted on him?”

Swain stared darkly at his opponent. Withered fingers drumming on the table punctuated the heavy silence that followed. Finally, he averted his eyes from the Chemist's yellow, rumbling, "It's good you bring that up, about Renekton."
He slid his kingside rook across the board in exact mimic of the scientist's move. "When I visit Zaun in a few weeks, to prepare for the Executioner's campaign, I will have him accompany me. I should like for you to examine him. The hemomancer cleansed his blood, but there seem to be lasting effects." Swain pursed his lips behind his shroud. "He is no use to me weak."

Singed tilted his head surprised and dubious about the news. “In…interesting the compounds I used during the burning vengeance capture campaign were artificial proteins base don the blood of crustaceous.” He said as he placed the queen’s rook on c1 to prepare for any break on the columns. After that he leaned forward measuring the information on Renekton condition something didn’t added up. “The artificial protein was designed to rip the oxygen from the air and low stability compounds in no means it was a strong base or something alike even in a normal human it would have only caused 1º degree burns.”“Maybe something on the compound reacted with his exotic biology? I will need to exanimate your champion personally to comprehend what went wrong.”

A single nod. The slow blink of crimson eyes greeted the Chemist's misgivings. "As presumed," said Swain. He slid the D7 bishop back to E8, safe behind its brother. "He has been sequestered in the castle of late--but I may well be in need of his prowess sooner, rather than later."
Having made his move, the Grand General sat back in his chair again, silent. Beatrice edged closer to him, nipped at a misplaced strand of hair. A gnarled hand brushed it back with the flow of his sidehawk. "If all goes as expected," Swain averted his gaze, the bags beneath his eyes seeming to deepen as he touched upon the topic of his own mortality, "I'll have the final piece for you by mid-May."

A withered hand deposited the black knight at D5, poised to take its white counterpart--or to be taken. But behind it, two pawns ensured that, should Singed choose to advance, the losses would be even. The Grand General added, "By which time we will have a solid foothold in Ionia."
With a gnarled finger, he stroked his familiar's graceful neck. Beatrice trilled contentedly, shut her eyes. "And it is my hope that a few small task forces of the Zaunite military will already be available for emergency dispatch, should the situation call for it. General Laurentine is an efficient officer." Again, he cleared his throat: a cough, a hack, a wheeze. Then he righted himself, one hand spread across his chest, and shook his head. "Excuse me. And I trust you to keep an eye on progress as well, when you can spare it."

“He Ionia it seems that you have plans for it as well” He moved the c4 knight to b2 as he smiled at Swain “Do you care to tell me about those plans? I don’t want my how agenda to become an obstacle to you.” He leaned back to his chair getting comfortable on it. “Mine aren’t too intricate but if things go well we might get The dark Sovereign on our side.”

Swain allowed himself a quiet chuckle. "I have plans for everywhere, Singed. Or haven't you gathered by now?" A trembling hand pulled the black queen to B8, where she stood out of range of attack.
"But what is your agenda, I wonder." Crimson eyes flashed over his colleague. "The Dark Sovereign would be a powerful ally indeed--but only so long as we can offer her what she desires."

“It seems so…how to say this right now I don’t have specific plans but a rough draft on how to meet Syndra’s requirements for our alliance, but alas she give me quite the troublesome task.” He moved his knight from b3 to d3 after that he was a little dubitative on how to say the request to his game partner. “I was tasked with kidnaping the will of the blades Irielia also Captain of the Guard and champion of the league and bring her to her or failing that obtaining her it would be good to obtain her "Mantle of Decorum" I haven’t even tried to do it because of the possible consequences this could bring but there are ways to deal with this without Zaun’s name getting in the mix.”

Swain stared blankly across the table. A few moments passed in silence before he laughed: a wheezing cackle of disbelief. He spread a withered hand over his chest in display of his amusement. "Singed, please. You have to be joking." Beatrice chirped in echo of his humor.
The Grand General's wry laughter eventually subsided; he wiped the creases of his eyes with a single gnarled finger before depositing his forwardmost bishop at G5, positioned to strike if a certain pawn were removed from its path. "Kidnap the Will of the Blades? At Syndra's behest? Did you bother to find out why the Sovereign would request such a thing? Did you figure in the consequences? The risks?" Swain shook his head in apparent disbelief. "By the nine hells, Chemist, it's a good thing you brought this to me before acting. Any other preposterous whims of would-be allies about which I should be informed?" He raised his eyebrows expectantly, awaiting further explanation.

“Please Swain don’t take me for an amateur I know the kind of consequences such thing would carry. In fact the only reason I haven’t dropped the whole thing is because having Syndra on our side would prove incredible useful on the long run.” Singed was slightly offended by Swain’s words but he understood the tactician’s concern after all Ionia was practically looking for an excuse for war against Zaun and Noxus at this point and any would do. “I don’t plan on kidnaping the will of the blades the mantle of decorum would do and is a far less troublesome target and it can’t identify his takers.” He then moved his tower to b1 moving it from arms way and making sure it would be were needed if a column would broke on that side of the board. “Her reasoning? Do you believe she had some deep reason to ask me for that? Jugging for the way she spoke and how fast she asked such and unreasonable request she is right now more a little girl with too much power rather than someone who is aiming to control her land. “She was probably thinking on humiliating a figure of her land or something petty as that. She still needs to grow to play on this level” he said pointing at the complex board.

Swain nodded slowly. "Useful indeed. If she can be properly managed." His eyes blazed with the fire of his machinations. "It is better to overestimate than to err in carelessness." He tapped his chin with a single gnarled finger, finally nudging the black queen forward one square, to B7.
The general's burning eyes fixed upon the Chemist, though his gaze seemed to pass through his comrade rather than to linger on his bandaged form. "You will need surveillance. Stealth. You will need to familiarize yourself with Irelia's habits in order to discern the proper moment." Swain paused, pursed his lips behind his shroud. "And a distraction. Perhaps I can provide you with these."

“Oh well to overestimate can prove to be as troublesome as underestimating that I can tell for experience.” He then moved his e pawn on square forward menacing Swain’s knight. “You are telling me only the obvious Grand general why don’t you tell me what you have in mind so I can help you make it truth?”
