When TF would change directions, she followed after. Her skills were more and more evident as they went along, but so was the fact she was rapidly reaching her limits. As they jumped to the second rooftop, she'd slow and pant a bit, glancing back to see if anyone else might still be following them.
"W-wait.." She took in quickened breaths, "I've been running from these jackasses for hours.." Resting her hands on her knees with droplets of sweat beading across her skin. "Ugh.."

For all he could see, Jon had absolutely no vision of any of the people that had initially drawn his attention. Finally reaching an outskirt point, Jon simply stopped and tried to see if he could possibly see anyone out there. At first he could see nothing... then, almost as if out of nowhere, he saw Twisted Fate appear in front of the woman that just popped into view.
Alas, for finally being able to see, he was quite the number of blocks away from being able to reach the two. The same moment, they took off. At this point, though, he didn't really have a better choice. Thus, Jon entered the more dense streets, hoping he'd be able to spot them again once he got to where he had last seen them...

Twisted Fate looked back at the obviously exhausted women, before looking around. It looks as though they were safe....for now that is. Criminals were never safe in Piltover...unless your Graves' apparently. He reached down and removed a canteen from his belt and handed it to Mai, "Hours huh? Ya' need ta' get much better at escapin' then. Mah tails only last a few minutes befer' Ah'm long gone."
"They're.." pant, "Persistent." She accepted the canteen with a brief nod of thanks, taking a few gulps before handing it back to him, "First it was some tribal lunatic.. Then it was that armored idiot.. Then the smaller guy, then you.." Looking a bit miffed at the situation, "So far you're the only one to catch up to me... The smaller moron just happened to duck into my hiding spot." Laughing a bit at how ironic it was. At least he didn't appear to be chasing her anymore.
She'd straighten, feeling her whole body burning from being pushed so far, "Name's Mai." She offered, extending her hand towards him, "You wouldn't uh.. mind some extra baggage briefly would you?" Giving a small motion to herself. She was suggesting he carry her.
John continued to rest against the doorway. He had no clue where they ran off too. Maybe it was best to let this one go. What could go wrong? Either way he decided to just happily relax on the cool ground and shade.

Twisted Fate placed the canteen away, and merely let out a light laugh, "Well it ain't everyday a beautiful woman ask me ta' sweep her off her feet. Ah' haven't even taken' ya' out ta' dinner yet." He flirted a bit...it was in his character. He scooped Mai off her feet bridal style.
He looked down at her before adding, "Ah hope yer' comfortable Cheri, cause this might get a bit bumpy." He didn't wait for her reply as he began to run toward the next building.
When she was scooped up into his arms, her cheeks went a bit red rather surprised at the man's willingness to carry her. She totally didn't expect him to accept! "Well oka--whoa!" Wrapping her arms around him tightly as he leapt off to the next building over, "AHH! Don't drop me~~" The young sky pirate whined a bit until they'd land on the next building.
"So uh... Are you.. Twisted Fate?" She questioned, glancing up towards his eyes with her own ethereal violets glimmering lightly. Had to be him. She was almost sure of it!

Twisted Fate laughed as she cried as they jumped to the next building, "Don't worry so much cheri, Ah've been doin' this since Ah was a young little cardshark. Ya' ain't got nothin' ta' worry bout'."
Twisted Fate was surprised when she asked for confirmation of his identity, but he concluded that it was most likely due to the decreased amounts of appearances he had on the battlefield. His ghostly eyes stared back into Mai's violet ones. Such a unique color...he had never seen anything like it...and that is saying something considering how he was in the League. He smiled and answered her question, "The one n' only cheri. Please hold yer' applause till the ride is over." He jumped to the next building before setting her back down. They would have to go through the alleys from here.
He choose to make a comment as he set her down, Tips, while appreciated, are not required from beautiful women such as yourself."
"If you drop me~" She made an idle threat, and left it to linger in the air just long enough to make her point. Card shark? She could get to liking this guy if he's anything like her. Mai gave him a smug look, "We'll see about that."
When their eyes met, it took no effort for her cheeks to pinken again. A small gulp, averting her gaze quickly particularly when he confirmed his identity, "Piltover's most wanted?" She inquired with a weak chuckle. At the comment about applauding, she'd pull one hand away and smacked her fingers to her palm jokingly, "Cheers."
Her arms tightened around him when he'd set her down, unraveling to step back away from him with a small nod. "Think I'm okay to run now. Let's get going before they catch up." Raising an eyebrow at the mention of tips. Why did she feel so awkward suddenly? The little Sky Pirate glanced off towards the direction they had come from, and gave a crooked grin believing they may have lost them finally. "Say.. If we make it to - wherever we're going - How's about a few rounds?" Sauntering back over to TF with a grin, "'Course, you're paying. It's rude t'make the ladies pay, isn't it?" Nudging him with her elbow before beginning to skillfully climb her way down into the alleyway. It was pretty clear she was well trained in such, moving quickly and efficiently as if free climbing was second nature to her.
That is assuming the alleys would be the most obvious route to take next.

The sounds of Victus's approach were getting closer as the two had ceased moving across the roofs and down into the alleys. He wasn't sure where they stopped their leaping, but they were near this building. He was not going to stop until the trail was dead cold.

Twisted Fate merely smiled at her antics, "Of course Piltover's most wanted. Ah ain't never been caught, so they want me behind their bars...course everywhere else does too. Not that they'll ever catch me, but they just refuse ta' give up." He said before following her down in the alley. There were no secret ways down from the roof, so one would have to climb the walls or take ladders. When Mai began to show off her skills, Twisted Fate observed them. She made her way down to the alley pretty quickly, and skillfully.
Twisted Fate however, lacked her skills and grace when he began to climb down to the alley. However, when he reached the bottom he replied to her question, "It's always good ta' keep company, even if she is wanted by the law m' Ah imagine Ah can afford the cost of a couple drinks fer' the skillful lady."
He paused and looked around...he could have sworn he heard something, "Ah know a bar round' here that won't be as patrolled that we could stop by if ya' want ta' get those drinks now. Or would ya' rather wait till after we escaped this criminal deathtrap cheri?"
Mai hit the ground smoothly when she got close enough to the alley floor, glancing up at the slower descending gypsy above her. She'd grin a bit with her arms folding. When he'd reach her, she'd tilt her head a little to the side, "Or an expert escape artist." She responded with a playful smile.
When the clanking caught her ears, she'd turn a bit towards the alley exit, "Uh.. Think we might want to scoot. I hear tin can coming closer." Sliding up beside him with a weary glance out of the alley, "Lingering can't be a good idea right now."

Twisted Fate looked at Mai and smiled, "Ya' mean tall dark n' gruesome? Well ain't like he gonna catch us. Though Ah am up fer' a little laugh." Twisted Fate said smiling before pulling out a single card. He channeled a little magic into the card and it shimmered a bright gold, "Lucky him." The Cardmaster chuckled a little bit as he turned and waited for Victus to round the corner. The knight would be in for a little bit of surprise, a rather bright one at that.
The black knight would get a bright and painful awakening.

Victus turned the corner, not really expecting to see them standing about, but they were. He slowed down and slowly walked towards the duo. The one in the hat had a card out...it glowed golden? Was that...?
"Twisted Fate. I want nothing to do with you. I just want the woman. Demacia requested her delivered home to answer for her crimes, Safely home. I mean her no harm. BEGONE! This is your one warning before I assume you are also involved in her crimes and take you as well."
Victus's hand went to the hilt of his blade, but he thought the Con-man would leave the girl and let Victus end this chase.

Jon had made his way to the area where he had last seen the woman and the con man, but alas, they had already gone.
Cursing to himself in his mind, he looked around for anything that might tell him where the two had gone. He was looking for some time before he spotted the man in back armor again, turning a corner.
Figuring that man probably still had sight of the two, Jon decided to follow after the black armored man, with the hopes of being able to find the couple.
He continued to follow until he saw the man in armor seemingly stop. Figuring that he had at last found the two, he decided to slow down, approaching the man in armor and whatever he was conversing with slowly.
