"Speak of the devil." Twisted Fate said turning to Victus a wide grin appeared on his face, "Ya' just used crimes, Demacia, and safe in the same sentence. Now Ah know yer' lyin' bout' her safety." He placed a hand on Mai's shoulder, "Bout' time another criminal wanted ta' show them stuck up nobles who is holdin' the reins too."
The Cardmaster decided that now was some time for some proper banter before escaping with Mai, "That n' maybe she wants ta' stay with me, the proper gentleman rather than the dark, evil, n' rude knight that is pursin' her. Don't ya' have a princess ya' need ta' rescue anyways?" The Cardmaster said as the gold card he was holding began to fade. He looked at card and smiled, "Lucky you. Ah happen ta' have yer' damsel in distress right here." The card quickly changed back to gold as it left Twisted Fate's hand flying toward Victus.
He didn't wait to see it hit as he grabbed Mai's hand and pulled her along with him. The duo would take a sudden left and then another sudden right. Twisted Fate's old escape route was not too far ahead.

Victus's world light up in blinding light and pain. He howled in anger and pain as he slammed into a building, trying to regain focus.
"DAMN YOU, REBECCA! YOUR FRIENDS CAN'T PROTECT YOU FROM ME FOR LONG! I NEVER BREAK AN OATH!" Victus howled.
As he regain vision he charged down a path, and slowly but surely lost their trail. He had lost her...for now. Now however, he had another lead. Twisted Fate, who was a much more recognizable person to track.
If Victus couldn't track them on the streets, then he would find them when they slept. There are only so many inns in Piltover, and few are frequented by the scum that struggled to remain off the radar. He would find one such place, even if he had to crack some heads.
Mai skirted a bit behind TF when Victus rounded the corner in front of them. She'd glare towards him, poking her tongue out and would raspberry at the knight before glancing at the gold card curiously Hearing TF call her Princess, she'd raise an eyebrow, feeling a hint of a blush reaching her cheeks.
"Yeah, Tin Can. Listen to the guy." Grinning, "You couldn't catch me if you wanted to." The small Ionian woman would push the tip of her nose up with her thumb and stuck her tongue out, "Nyah." Being a brat on purpose. She knew she'd won. Granted, with TFs help, but she did most the work before hand!
As she watched the card flick to Victus' face, she'd start to laugh until feeling her arm grabbed and her body yanked along hurriedly moving her feet to keep up, "Better be a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow, Fate." She teased with a snicker in response to being tugged along, easily keeping up with him once she got her footing down.
Around the corner they went, heading for whatever escape route he had in mind. She'd occasionally glance back to see if he was still chasing, or if anyone else decided on following.

Jon recoiled as he saw the armored man recoil himself and cry in pain. Evidently, something painful hit him. Once the man recovered, Jon resolved himself to approach him slowly, and then spoke to him.
"Are you alright, sir?" The tone was more of concern than intrigue.
"There's only one thing that I know for sure is true: 'Truth is relative.'" -Jon
"What side you're on isn't of concern to me. What is of concern is that you're hurt, and I need to treat you for it." -Jon
"Contrary to what some believe, violence does not solve everything. In fact, it solves nothing." -Jon

When Victus turned to note the man, Jon would see four shallow scratch marks running down Victus's face. They were still bleeding, but Victus wasn't too concerned with them.
Victus himself had resolved to find a local and question him about the area when Jon had rather conveniently appeared. Victus shook away the last of the brightness and blurriness, but he still couldn't make out words. The card had temporarily taken his hearing as well. So Victus, instinctively yelling in an vain attempt to hear himself speak, told Jon. "WHAT?"

Jon definitely recoiled that time, the tone of the armored man's voice throwing him off quite a bit. When he recovered, he got his mind back and proceeded to ask him again, though in a louder voice:
"I said, are you alright?"

Victus had JUST enough of his hearing at this point to quiet down a bit, though he can see he almost blew out Jon's hearing.
"I am fine. Are you from here? I am after two criminals wanted for crimes against the King of Demacia. Twisted Fate and an Ionian woman. I need to know the least used or seediest tavern in the area. I need to find where the filth nests."

Jon listened to the man speak before speaking himself.
"Indeed, I am from here; as a matter of fact, I am a public official of the very city-state. I'm Chief Medical Officer Jon, head of the Piltover Central Hospital and responsible for the medical needs of this city-state."
"Now, you say you are after two criminals? Twisted Fate... I thought there was a restraining order against him for Piltover? If so, and I suppose if you're after him, I can assist. As to the woman, I don't know enough information about her to tell whether or not she would be wanted under Piltovian law."
"However, since you are after Twisted Fate, I suppose I can provide some information about this area," Jon answered, having his Options display a map of the factory region, with notable points being designated across the area. "Now, there are very few legally operating bars in this region, especially with the addition of Caitlyn and Vi to the PPD (Piltover Police Department), but there are some illegal ones I have heard about," pointing to several locations indicating places where he remembered hearing about said secret bars.
"However, as I am not an official member of the PPD, I am afraid I cannot provide much assistance besides the addresses of said... 'illegal,' bars," Jon finished, writing down on a paper three different addresses. "But I will inform my fellow officials that there might be a violation of law here. Anything else you need?"

"I know not her crimes in Piltover. I do know the woman is a thief. That is all you need to know about her. There is also a large man coated in many furs roaming the city. His intentions are not to capture this woman, but to likely beat her and kill her. If by chance the authorities catch him, they should be warned that he is no ruffian. He has a scimitar of large size and knows how to use it, as well as being demi-human. Clawed fingers. Should you get word to Caitlynn or her deputy, you should impress unto them the danger this brute is. He has no qualms killing those who get in his way. I will get the fugitives if they are still in this city. I won't leave until I find her or I find her destination. If Caitlynn finds her before myself, she will find me at the Eye-sore Technician's."
Victus extended a hand for the addresses, his face as cold as Freljordian Winter. "The addresses?"
Victus's cold face hid a raising blood pressure. He had no intention of letting Caitlynn get in the way of his oath.

Jon raised an eyebrow at the last part, but then decided he probably didn't understand, and so clarified.
"As in, the location of the bars. Our city-state runs on an address system, where every place is given a set collection of information regarding their location. Go to any public booth and simply scan it; the booth will then direct you to the location."
"As to this other being... if he attacks, rest assured he will be drawing much more than he would like to, and can likely handle, for that matter," Jon added, his statement more stern regarding that last point.
"But, if the criminals are caught before-hand, then the issue becomes moot, so that's all I can say about it."
"Anything else I should know, or you would like to know, for that matter?"

"Ya' have ta' catch the yordle first cheri. Before ya' can even think ta' reach the gold." Twisted Fate replied with a smile before taking a right and stopping at a door that led to the basement of some building. Like many doors in Piltover, it was locked...however that did not stop the gypsy. He pulled out a card with a key on it, and held it to the lock. There was a click, and Twisted Fate placed the card back into his pocket and removed the lock.
He opened the door and gestured for Mai to enter, when she did he would carefully shut the door behind them. He approached an old bookcase, which was in a rather odd place to be considering the rowdy company that seemed to be occupy the upper floor above the two. "Now Mai. Would ya' like those drinks now or would ya' perfer those drinks now or after we escaped yer' pursuers?"
The answer did not matter to Twisted Fate, after all he was going to get away no matter what. However, he did enjoy Mai's company as a fellow criminal that is being hunted by the law. That and he always enjoyed the company of any fair and pretty woman. Not to mention he was a bit curious what another criminal, who has yet to have been caught, is doing in a place like Piltover. Sure Twisted Fate liked a challenge every now and then but he thought he was one of the few that appreciated the work that Piltover's police department did. By appreciated he of course meant that they did a fine job removing his competition.
For now he simply waited for Mai's answer before moving on with what she wanted to do.

"Show me the board and get me directions and then just get out of my way. I must be swift, or else I will miss them. I will not allow you to slow me down or make me falter in my hunt for the Ionian."

((Ok, got it, thanks.))
Jon listened to the man speak before doing his final actions himself.
"Matter of fact, a booth is right here," he remarked, pointing to an odd-looking electronic board with a miniature map of the region. Put in the address, and the booth will light the pathway to the destination for you."
"Well, I myself must be on my way, for there is a meeting I must prepare myself to attend, so good luck on your chase; although you should also expect to have the official force in on it as well," he said, before giving a nod of respect, turning around, and heading back home.
