Victus was not unfamiliar with bar-fights.
After taking a hit to the nose, he ran backwards into a wall. That got the man off of his back as it probably broke a rib. As for the other two, Victus grabbed them by the collars and slammed them into each other. The rest of the barfight dispersed away from him when he drew his blade.
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU LOT AND YOUR ILLEGAL DRINK! STAY OUT OF MY WAY!" Victus scanned the room, and noted a stairway to the basement, That area of the bar happened to be the area where the fighting was heaviest.
"MOVE, YOU DRUNKEN SWINE!" Victus shouted into the throng at the basement door. He pushed on. Making slow progress and taking a few hits. He left a trail of black eyes and broken noses in his wake, as well as hitting a few with his blade's hilt to make some aware of how he was armed.
At the start of the bar fight, Mai would broaden her smile and start to step forward only to feel TFs hand grasp her own. She'd blink as she turned to face him with her cheeks turning pink yet again, "Aw." She protested a little, "That looked fun, too." However she'd not fight him terribly as she was just as eager not to get caught by Victus and drug off to Demacia. Turning, Mai would go along with TF as he tugged her along, down the stairs into the basement and into the shaft he exposed. Entering first, she'd glance back passed TFs shoulder towards the commotion upstairs and quickly darted down through the tunnel to make their escape.

Twisted Fate removed the deck from the book, and placed the book back to its proper place. The gypsy slipped into the passage as it closed, and it got very dark besides a few torches that glowed dimly. Twisted Fate walked down the tunnel explaining as he walked, "This was a few gypsies used to hide out in or escape from the less welcoming authorities. Ah' used this a lot in mah youth, n' Ah don't think its been discovered. The only reason why is cause' the barkeeper kept an eye out on me when Ah was younger, n' Ah think he has always kept his mouth shut bout' this passage."
The men did not offer much a fight after Victus showed his was armed....and a little bonk on the head or face did not hurt much either. The knight would make his way down to the cellar only to find that his quarry was not there. But where did they go? It is almost like they disappeared....did Twisted Fate teleport them? There were so many questions, and few answers for the knight to go on. Would he finally give up?
Now back to our pair of heroes (or criminals depending on ones point of view. It seems like they would walk in the darkness for a long time before Twisted Fate asked, "So Mai, what are ya' gonna do once we get out of here? Where are ya' headed? Bilgewater? Noxus? Ionia?" The Cardmaster didn't really care where she was going, as he wandered just about everywhere. Of course the occasional summoning did tend to interrupt his wanderings a bit.
"huh." Replied Mai as they traveled the long passage. She'd glance back towards the closing entrance then smirked a bit, "Why are you showing me this place? Trust me already?" She questioned, "Or are you trying to soften me up for something later?"
"Heading?" She questioned in response to his, "I go where the wind takes me. Nothing holds me anywhere for very long. As long as I have my freedom, nothing else matters." Shrugging softly, "Too bad I'm not a Gypsy like you. It'd probably suit me better. But then again, you lot tend to stick to the ground. I like it up high."

Twisted Fate chuckled, "Maybe its ta' make sure ya' always have a backup plan. N' maybe a bit of the latter fer' such a pretty lady like yerself, but when that latter may come...who knows. " The gypsy chuckled at her statement about being a gypsy. It actually bugged him a bit, but his famous poker face held up, "Eh freedom is quite important too. Ah have a lot of it too n' speakin' of which."
Twisted Fate stopped and climbed a later before pushing on a trapdoor and opening it. The sun's shine was blocked a bit by a tree the door was placed under. He climbed out and looked back to Piltover, "Well cheri, ya' have officially escaped Piltover. That freedom ya' spoke of is now yours, n' thank ya' fer' takin the Twisted Fate escape way. We promise ya' success, but if ya' end up in a jail cell its yer' own fault." He joked smiling at Mai as she came out.

She didn't really think about the fact the gypsy comment might actually bug him. She didn't mean any harm by it! So her response to his chuckle only provoked a light one in response. "You keep calling me pretty. I bet you've got a leash on all the women of Valoran, just waiting to get tugged your direction for a good time hm?" She teased a bit.
"I had another way. But your way is pretty fun, gotta admit. Thanks for being a good sport and letting me play your game." She'd say as she climbed out and stretched, "Now where to? Or is this where we say our goodbyes?" Not that she wanted it to end just yet.

"Well the ladies do tend ta' fall fer' me, but...Ah think Destiny has the one fer' me out there...somewhere." Twisted Fate explained, "Heck it might even been you? Only destiny knows." He did get the sense she was trying to draw this out as long as possible, and to be honest Twisted Fate did not have anywhere to go.
So he decided to answer her next questions, "Well Ah ain't got a n agenda at all, so Ah'm willin' ta' just stick round' with ya'. If anywhere Ah was thinkin' bout' headin' ta' Ionia. Haven't been there mahself, so Ah'm a little curious bout' what is over there n' Ah could use a pretty guide ta' show me all the sights n' wonders. The guide might even be one of the most exotic sights Ah see."

Meanwhile, Victus had been beating drunks down the steps into the cellar full of bookcases.
Upon seeing the room was empty, Victus snarled. Twisted Fate's magics were rather frustrating. Rebecca had escaped...for now. However, this opened up a new trail. Two people are easier to find than one. Twisted Fate could be made to talk. If he ever saw the man again...he would question him.
'I'll find her yet.' Victus thought to himself. Victus made his way out of the bar and went back to the alley where he lost his helm.
Mai gave a playful grin, "My turn to pull a trick out of my sleeve then. Follow me." Turning, the young Sky Pirate would make her way towards the east for a bit of a distance. What they'd eventually find would be a cluster of trees, and above it sat a small airship which looked fairly worn down. However it clearly still functioned.
Mai climbed up the tree with ease, almost like a monkey might in a forest they grew up in. Not quite as quick or nimble, but it was clear she had a natural talent for free climbing and parkour. It wouldn't take her long to reach a rope that hung over the side of her ship, which she'd quickly climb up until arriving to the main deck. She'd turn, and toss a long, rope latter down for Twisted Fate to climb, grinning over the edge all the while as she waited for him to make his way up.
"Ionia it is."
((Check the profile. There's a picture of the ship on it.))

The Cardmaster looked at the airship, "Well Ah guess, Ah won't be needin' the ticket Ah got from a sucker then. Shame...man seemed like he didn't want ta' part with it." He began to climb the ladder onto the deck of the ship, "First time Ah've ever been on an airship. Ah heard its quite the experience, course ain't it a little bit too obvious fer' a criminal ta' be travelin' in it?" The Cardmaster inquired as he looked around.
It seems the ship has seen much better days. However, as long as the ship could fly Twisted Fate had no issues with it. The few creaking wood planks reminded him of a few shoddy inns he stayed at. The ones that were either hassled by bandits or thieves at times. It still held many wonders, heck one might even be able to live up here if things got bad enough, which brought another question to his mind, "Ah' assume this is home sweet home fer' ya?"
"You'd be amazed how few bother to travel by sky. Most just leave me alone.. 'specially in Ionia." She grinned as she'd walk up to the wheel and hit a couple switches to her left. The engines would begin to crank up with a bit of effort, puttering and spewing out black smoke before kicking in the fire. She'd pull a lever above her to ignite small bursts of flame into the balloon above and raise the ship slowly.
"Home sweet home. Unique to me. I fixed her up, and kept her running. Not much to look at, but she's my baby." Smirking towards TF, "Any particular spot in Ionia you want to see?"

"To each their own, if ya' put the work inta' it ya' deserve the spoils. Or at least that is how they justify it in the conman's world." Twisted Fate replied, and when asked if there was any spot in Ionia he wanted to see, he came up with a rather clever reply.
"Well cheri, Ah' thought ya' were the best sight ta' see from Ionia." He flirted as he walked near the railing of the ship watching as they ascended higher and higher into the clouds. He had never seen the land from this high up, and he had to admit it was quite beautiful. Like a certain someone else that was on this same ship," So now what cheri? What happens now?"
