Teemo nods thoughtfully, looking down at the floor when he opens his eyes again.
"Yeah... that sounds about right. I don't think there's any way for a person to make a full recovery in this day and age, but there's probably something out there to help treat it. Post-traumatic-stress disorder is fairly common, no? Could you consider Veigar to have PTSD...?"
The scout looks up at the ceiling, scratching his neck and going through all of these new possibilities in his head. If anything, he wanted to provide the Bandle officials with useful information, and use it to benefit Bandle in the best possible way.

Poppy shrugs, her expression not budging the slightest as usual.
"Hard to say, I am no psychologist. But probably something similar to it. This kind of discussion is a bit out of my knowledge. I'm just a blacksmith's daughter after all..."
She chuckles slightly and looks over to the blade she was finishing, her expression suddenly turning to show a hint of sadness.
"I still sometimes wish... that my father and I never created that helm... "

Teemo nods at Poppy's assumption, his ears folding slightly when he notices her darkened mood. The scout steps over and puts an arm around her shoulders, pointing at her chest.
"Poppy, your father was a great man, who had an even greater daughter. His death was... a tragedy. But he still lives on, in here. In you. I'm sure he'd be proud to see how far you've come, how much you've grown and the friends you've made."

Poppy looks at Teemo, her grim determination showing through in her gaze as always.
"I suppose so. However, it is... annoying... infuriating that he had to pay with his life for this. My determination back then led to great things yes... but dealing with politics and the duties of an Ambassador are quite tiring Captain. If it was my choice, I would have rather had the life I would have had without that last trek to Demacia..."
She shakes her head and sighs before showing Teemo a slight smile for just a few seconds before her expression turns back to what it was.
"But, I am glad to have gone through what I have in a way. Serving my home in such an important way, making friends with influential figures such as the Lightshield family of Demacia. It is something... that most would not have the chance to even attempt.
Let alone becoming a Champion in the League. It is quite a... unique experience. My expertise of the weak points of armor has proven useful upon the Fields. My life may have been a lot more... common without what I went through, but... smithing is in my blood. I would have been more than happy with just such a simple life..."

Teemo smirks and folds his arms, nodding to Poppy.
"Yeah, a simple life would be nice, I guess. Would certainly be a lot easier. But it would probably get boring and you'd start to take things for granted. Anyway, I better get going. See you in a few days, Poppy!"
The scout walks over to the doorway and waves to the ambassador before he leaves.

Poppy merely nods before turning back to the blade on the table with the painting supplies, starting to go through the different paint buckets to find the colors that the commission had included.
After finding the right ones, she covers the delicate carvings on the blade and then takes a selection of brushes. She then twists open the lids of the paint cans and takes the widest brush she has available. Dipping it in the black paint, she starts painting the areas of the blade that did not need to be sharp. Thanks to the preparation and covering of the carvings, this part was simple.
She then leaves the painted blade out to dry so the carvings can be painted with the yellow color. While the paint dried she looked over to the hilt and broken shards of Teemo's knife. Two choices... create the blade out of a different piece of metal, or turn the forge up to as hot as it can get to melt the shards. It would make working unbearable for the day, but would allow her to reuse the original metal alloy used to create the knife.
She sits down next to the table Whomper is leaning against and starts to ponder which option to take.
Bandle City, Blomgrun's Smithy 17th of February, 23 CLE
Expecting that his sword is done, Titus returns to the Smithy anticipating that Poppy made the best sword ever. He knocks on the door and hollers out.
"Hey Poppy! It's me, Titus! Is the sword ready?"
But for one thing, Titus doesn't expect that his sword is going to be colored. He assumes that Poppy is going to enchant it so it's going to glow colors like those Solarii and Lunarii swords, but painting it is different.

The door opens a moment later, releasing a wave of near scalding air at Titus's face. Poppy looks at the admiral, nodding slightly.
"The sword is as ready as I can prepare it yes. Applying color to a weapon is an annoying task however... it is often pointless with the amount of wear and tear weaponry goes through."
She then vanishes from the doorway for a moment before returning with the blade. The blade is black except for the sharpened edge used for combat and the delicate yellow carvings in the blade. The quality is immaculate, no sign of any possible flaw or weakness visible in the blade and the carvings seem very well done and fitting the theme that was given.
She holds the sword by the blade, wearing her thick smithing gloves to avoid cutting herself as she presents the blade to the admiral hilt first. The hilt itself seemed to be of excellent quality as well, showing the amount of skill the ambassador still possessed from her father's training even after all the years she has spent at the Embassy.

Poppy raises an eyebrow at the man, her gaze as serious and imposing as ever.
"Yes, I painted it. Were you expecting some sort of enchantment? Because that is clearly out of my reach. I am a blacksmith, not a magician. If you want a magical enchantment to color it, you need to ask an enchanter. I do not know where to find one however."
She shakes her head and sighs.
"You people these days. I create a high quality blade, and you expect something that no living smith can create. Such high expectations. Hmph. Such a spoiled man you are... "
"No no no! It-it looks awesome! I really mean it! I just didn't know that...hahaha...you were gonna color it..."
Titus was unsure of whether to keep the colored blade or to give it back...but then again it looks like several famous artists painted his blade. And Poppy did make an excellent job in painting it. He smiles and chuckles a little.
"Hey! The sword overall...looks great! How did you do it?"
Post by The Iron Ambassador on Feb 27, 2013 19:19:42 GMT -5
Poppy crosses her arms and shakes her head. Amusing...
"I simply forged the blade the way my father taught me. He also often made me practice the finishing touches that he could not do that well. Carving and painting. I simply carved the shapes into the blade and painted them carefully. The creation of the carvings took a fair bit of time in itself, as is probably obvious."
"Hmm..." And at this time Titus is beaming as he found out what to do with the sword. He looks at the furnace and ponders if it's hot enough.
"Hey Poppy. I wonder if I can enter the forge. The paint thing..."
He doesn't want to 'hurt her feelings' but Titus hates the fact that she put paint on it.
"Okay. I didn't expect you to put the paint...I never..wanted for you to put the paint...but anyways, I can fix it with my magic. All I need is something hot."
He enters inside the forge and walks near to the furnace. He extends out his hands as if he's warming them at the campfire, just to see how hot it really is.
The enchantment begins and Titus starts by encasing the newly made sword in a cosmic bubble. Then he places it careful inside the furnace with the sword floating in the furnace. Titus didn't care much what Poppy is doing, as if she has real life in her. Her serious attitude has Titus concerned but it isn't enough to make it irritating.
He needs to stay here for 15 minutes if the first part of the enchantment is complete. To make time pass by, he tries a conversation with her.
"So what makes you feel that you want a vacation?"
