Titus moves a bit further away from the forge since the heat is becoming unbearable to him. Then he lets out a another big groan before speaking, already accepting the fact that he's not going to get another sword for...some time.
"Well...I'm swordless...after Teemo's dagger, maybe you can make me another one?"
Poppy's imminent return to the Embassy surprises Titus. He knew that Poppy is busy but it can't be that busy. His tone is a bit concerned with a very small hint of depression.
"But what about my sword...and that date we might have? W-w-why do you have to go back?"

Poppy shakes her head for a moment.
"As I said, I will see what I can do regarding the sword. But, the relations of Demacia and Bandle City are more important than my personal life. If I am needed, I cannot stay at home. I have been away from the Embassy for almost a week now, which is longer than most of my "vacations"."

Poppy nods and glances over to the forge room.
"However, I will not be leaving for the Embassy for another couple of days. I promised the Captain to fix his knife, and I will do so before returning to Demacia and the Embassy."

Poppy silently nods and gives the admiral a slight wave before turning back inside, chuckling slightly. This sure was an eventful day.
She then goes to check on the metal shards, now molten. She carefully takes the pot of molten metal and takes it to a mold nearby. She then very slowly and carefully pours the molten metal into the mold to cool down. Then she takes some water and extinguishes the fire in the forge before heading back to her room to relax.

In the forge room, the fire was burning as usual. Poppy was working on finishing Teemo's knife, having molten the alloy into a bar two days ago and shaped it the day after. Today, only finishing touches were left. She had made the blade be close to what it had been before from what she had gathered from the shards, but she did make one addition.
She felt it to be fitting to add a small carving to the sides of the knife. On both sides of the blade, in the same spot, there was a small and shallow carving representing one of Teemo's poisonous darts.
Poppy sits down next to one of the tables in the forge room and begins to slowly and carefully attach the blade into the old hilt...

Poppy flips the knife into the air and grabs hold of the blade with her thick smithing glove, offering the knife to Teemo.
"You are not too early Captain, the blade is finished. It is made of the same metal as your old one. I simply melted the shards of the old blade and remade it. And added a little carving of something you are known for."
She shows Teemo a short, somewhat noticeable grin before continuing with her usual expression.
"What happened at the town hall by the way? Or is it classified information?"

Teemo takes the knife gently, turning it over and flicking it around a few times to test it. A faint smile shows on his face when he sees the carvings, but it soon vanishes and he stores the blade away.
"No, it's not secret. I've been... temporarily relieved from duty. The commanding officers feel I'm starting to lose my touch and need to take a break before I can go out into the field again. I'll be turning in my equipment in the morning and won't be able to pick it up for another week..."
Unable to hold it back, he lets out a very solemn sigh and looks to the floor.

Poppy nods, looking as serious as ever. She places a hand on Teemo's shoulder and looks at him.
"Don't worry too much Captain. Just take some time to think and clear your mind. Life throws things at you at times that change your world upside down... believe me, it does."
She then looks at the knife for a moment before looking back up again.
"And since I didn't use any of my own materials for the knife and it is for an influential figure of our city as you, consider the restoration of the knife, a gift."
She then turns around and picks up Whomper easily with one hand despite it's immense weight.
"Do you... wish to talk about the reasons why you are "losing your touch" as the officials claim?"
