Teemo blinks, glancing down at his knife for a moment before looking back up at Poppy with a somewhat puzzled expression.
"That's very kind of you, Poppy. And I guess it wouldn't hurt to talk about it. The thing is, I'm not even sure myself what the big deal is. Yes, lately I've had more on my mind, but I never thought it was affecting my work so much. Perhaps the officials are just... afraid that the condition will get worse without some kind of break?"

Poppy lifts Whomper against her shoulder and shrugs, not burdened in the slightest by the hammer's weight.
"Perhaps. You are known for your serious and dedicated behaviour while on mission. If what you have on your mind is making this not be the case even during missions, there is a good reason for them to ask you to take some time off. After all, it is unlike you if that is the case."
She taps her chin for a moment.
"It would be like... Tristana saying she doesn't like explosions or myself leaving Whomper somewhere without a care for if someone takes it. It is highly abnormal considering your reputation Captain."

Teemo shrugs and sighs, seating himself.
"It's true I've had more to think about, lately, but usually I don't let it distract me from my missions. I mean, my records haven't begun to go downhill, and I haven't had any great failures lately. Sometimes things take longer, yes, and I might have more questions to ask afterwords, but... does that mean that I'm starting to lose my touch? I thought it was normal for us yordles to... you know... use their conscience."

Poppy looks at Teemo for a moment thoughtfully before answering.
"It is normal for us yordles to be very caring yes, but sometimes the abnormal things are what make us good at our craft. My determination and serious personality apparently makes me a good Ambassador, and your ability to tune out your conscience makes you good at your line of work. I don't think you are losing your touch however if your records are at the same level as usual."

Teemo scratches the back of his neck thoughtfully and stands up.
"I think the officials are just a little worried that this could become something bigger than what it should be, and they are taking precautions. Who knows, maybe something good will come from this break."

Poppy nods and yawns a bit. It had been a long week for her.
"Indeed, you never know what might happen. I had a talk with Prince Jarvan early this month, intending to only talk about what he thought of Noxus's withdrawal from the League, but ended up making plans for myself to... try and get a meeting with the Master Tactician. Both to figure out how truthful he was about peace, and... hopefully find those assassins that took my father away all those years ago."

Teemo nods and stretches, glancing at the door and feeling the blade in its hilt.
"Oh... well that sound interesting. Good luck to you then, Poppy. Anyway, I better get going now. No need to keep the officials waiting. See you later."
