He turned to his the Barbarian King quickly and acted as The Barbarian King’s blade came down upon him viciously. The weapon left a clear mark upon his body that ran from shoulder to his abdominal. It felt like it was cutting through a solid natural armor, there was no blood but torn flesh. Before he could react another was upon him, the same insect he swatted before. A burst of eldritch energy resonated outwards from him, throwing those who were immediately near him away. His eyes locked upon the fool hardy inquisitor. He stepped forward suddenly as the blade came down and ran the man through with the blade with such force that it hilted against his stomach.
Blame screamed and only he could hear it as the weapon wreaked havoc upon his body.
“WHY DID YOU WATCH? WHY DIDN’T YOU SAVE THEM RUDMED?! THEY WERE YOUR PARENTS!”
Rudmed did manage a blow of his own, however, he was not strong enough to entirely remove the empowerment of the Void. However the decline was noticeable though The Knight would not acknowledge that such an insect could harm him so greatly. He swung his blade, tearing the wound further open and throwing Rudmed at the Barbarian King. If Rudmed wasn’t treated immediately there was a strong chance he wouldn’t make it.
He took strong notice of Leona, his wounds clear upon his person. So she was being enhanced as he had been. His eye glowed brightly within the confined of his helmet. She spoke and he waited for her approach. A low laugh emitted as she ran with an incredible speed now but he would stop that. As the spell took off, Leona suddenly found herself stunned in her tracks for a moment id run as the Knight readied his own attack.
“You think I’m afraid? OF YOU?! Come then! COME AT ME!”
Leona’s charge would no doubt proceed after the brief pause and damage took hold. He was raised his blade and stuck. The two locking, however due to Redmed’s efforts it seemed that Leona had the advantage now. Even with the Knight’s aura and the empowerment that took hold, she was stronger.

With haste the Preserver Commander rushed through the village upon his reemergence and towards the front lines. Blade drawn. It seemed that by the time he arrived the Void forces were already dismissed through the use of a banishing spell. That meant there would only be a handful left to deal with and there was no doubt in his mind his remaining forces would see to it that no more forced their way through.

Tryndamere was pleased with the large gash that he left on the void Knight. However, before he could swing again, he was blown back by the sudden burst of energy. He didn't go far before he stabbed his sword into the ground to prevent himself from being forced out of the battle. As he stood up, a man was launched towards him. Quickly dodging out of the way, The King raised his sword and ran back at the creature, preparing another slash.

Leona's charged was halted briefly as the knight cast some sort of spell on her... she frowned, largely ignoring the damage. She listened to him speak and narrowed her eyes before she resumed her charge, her sword slamming into his. "It doesn't matter if you're afraid of me or not!" Leona retaliated, pushing hard against her sword. "Either way, this is where you fall."
As Leona pushed, the Sunlight around her would constantly burn the void knight the longer he stayed this close to her. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Leona- Full power(4 posts)

The charge seemed to work, leaving Pvt. Heffron breathe a sigh of relief: Leona was back... and goodness, it was getting hot in the area. So hot, that Heffron contemplated taking off his jacket in the middle of the Freljordian Winter!
He wasn't concerned with that, however; the focus was making sure Leona got enough to be able to finally defeat the Grey Knight... and keeping an eye on his buddy, who had now appeared to be recovering now.
PFC Randleman was still pretty weak, but he had managed to sufficiently end the further weakening and was now slowly recovering. It would be some time before he could get back up, but at least he wasn't dead.
It was then that Heffron noticed something strange: a red button at the bottom of the button panel for the Medigun, labeled "DO NOT TOUCH"... yet something was telling him to push that button...
((Also want to apologize for anyone else held up by me not posting the others; it's taking a bit of time to organize that part, so I'll have the rest of the PMC caught up in my next post. Again, sorry!))

Rudmed smiled as his blow struck, and now he would seize the initiative, and strike with his most powerful blow.
At least that is what he thought he would do. Fate had a very different plan.
The Knight created a force of energy that knocked the Grandmaster of The Final Truth back a few feet and on his back. Rudmed begun to scramble to his feet, when the Knight was suddenly upon him! The creature did not move that fast before! The inquisitor prepared himself to parry or roll out of the way when all the sudden he felt a sharp pain. Blood flowed up from his throat and drizzled out of his mouth...all he could taste was iron. But what he felt and heard were two far different stories. There was an agonizing pain in his stomach, and his gaze dropped to see the hilt of the creature's sword pressing against his torn stomach. He tried to let out a cry of pain, but all that came out was a rather bloody gurgle.
Then came the voice that screamed at him asking how he could watch his parents die and do nothing. It seems the creature had tapped into his memories and brought up a rather bad one. Trespassing on the cherished memories of his family was one of the greatest sins one could commit.
Rudmed rose his head enough that Knight would be able to see his brown eyes with pupils blazing with righteous white fire, "Mark my words.....This place...will be your grave. By my hands or my allies." He managed to get out and he slowly began to raise his revolver to fire, perhaps his last shot, when the Knight tossed him at Tryndamere who quickly dodged out of the way.
The inquisitor hit the snow and rolled a few times before coming to a stop. There was a rather bloody red trail from his initial impact on the snow to where he ended up. His revolver was still in his hands, but it seems he had more pressing concerns as he pressed a hand on his bleeding wound to try and slow it down or staunch it. It hurt like hellfire and he knew that he needed aid soon or The Final Truth would need a new Grandmaster. He looked up and began to try and locate one of those medics he had seen earlier. One was busy empowering Leona, so he would be Rudmed's last resort for aid.

Rudmed: DOC! COME ON MAN! (AKA Critically wounded)

PMC minus Independents
The blast did the job. With the rune magics now clearing away nearly all of the void, the Corps saw that their share of the fighting - for the most part - was now over. Nearly all of the Medics set aside the weapons they had manned and had now gotten up to get back to the field hospital, treating any and all wounded that had come in.
Even Sgt. Lipton had finally gotten the manure out of his pants, and after cleaning himself up rather quickly, joined those in treating the wounded. Only one team - MG Team 1 - was still on their weapon, as an insurance against any last voidal attacks.
Some of the Medics had gone to the fields where the Void was now completely gone, and with stretchers, picked up the wounded from the ground and carried them back into the hospital. They weren't taking chances of course; each one going out had his standard weapon with them, in case any odd voidlings tried to jump at them while they were moving the wounded.
At the field hospital, some of the Medics gathered around their leader, Cpt. Winters, who rather gruffly told them to attend to those in worse condition; it had appeared that Winters would now be able to recover, the only thing in question being the time it would take.
As to the situation with Volibear and Kayle, Lt. Nixon himself came, and when he responded, he had the aura of a person who wasn't to be questioned and in charge.
"As it stands, we have the means to treat magical wounds, though these are... severe. The Judicator will be treated with the utmost care and capabilities the Medics can provide, but as it is, her critical condition means we are locking everyone else away from her for the time being; she will be in Trauma Area 1, closed off to everyone except the Medics treating her."
"As to you... don't be so confident. A medic knows when anyone - or any creature - needs help, and you definitely need it. Malarkey! Get this armored bear treated; appears to be just cuts and bruises, though some cuts are deep: Left Interosseous and Left Ulnar specifically, so make sure you get Volibear's left arm treated first." Cpl. Malarkey nodded, and then proceeded to treat the armored bear, focusing intently on his left arm.
Pvt. Heffron didn't change what he was doing... he just simply continued to maintain the medigun's charge flow, making sure the power flow was still steady.
In the meantime, PFC Randleman had now sufficiently recovered, and had just gotten up... to see that odd Inquisitor leader he had seen earlier approach him. And he didn't look pretty.
Immediately his Medical instincts came into play; he ran up to him, and checked him over. "Sir! You're bleeding... and bleeding tons." He took out an anesthetic and administered it to Rudmed, which would remove most of the pain he felt. He then right after gave a small antibiotic, to remove any infections he had.
"Alright, that should hold you until we get to the field hospital... but you can't walk back in this condition. C'mon, don't question it - UPSY DAISY!" And with that, Randleman hoisted Rudmed over his back, and from there, proceeded to make the trek back to the hospital, with Rudmed leaning horizontally across his back.

Rudmed noticed the medic get up and spot him, but he didn't remove his hand from the wound until the medic got to him. At the medic's comment about bleeding Rudmed mentally sighed. He was well aware of his condition, after all he was the one who just got stabbed. But nonetheless he was grateful to the medic, who stuck him with medical tools most likely meant to stop the pain and cleanse him of disease.
The medic then lifted the inquisitor on his back, in which he didn't really struggle, due to the fact any struggle would make his wound even worse. Rudmed just lay on the Randleman staring back at the epic clash between Leona, Tryndamere, and that damned Void monster. He desired to reenter the clash, but knew in his condition he would be more of a burden than a help. He could feel the adrenaline from the battle begin to slow...it would not be long till he was unconscious. However, Rudmed would fight unconsciousness as long as he possibly could.

Rudmed: Still critical, but is getting aid. Out of this fight for good.

The Barbarian King was approaching him once more after the Radiant Dawn and the void Elite had locked blades If they wanted a fight to the death then so be it; they would learn what it was to fight something greater than any of them! He refused to simply fall here, not without attempting to take one of them with him. His crimson eye locked on Leona and pulsated with a vile magic. Leona’s body became enveloped in a faint red glow and her body would feel as though it was being burned as he was. It seemed to be nothing at first, perhaps more dark magic of the elite, but then her blade gave way, of the Knight’s own will and sunk harshly into part of his shoulder. It happened be the same Tryndamere had been focusing on.
As if the Knight had suddenly gone mad, he inflicted injury upon himself! His own blade sunk deeply and suddenly into his own person as the lock broke. The black blade was now penetrating out of his side. Leona would fall forward due to momentum, only to be caught by two massive hands that clenched her head hard in an attempt to crush it like roach beneath his heel.
The metal gauntlets upon his hands began to glow bright red as they connected with her head. Leona had more or less become a solar flare. He knew not if Leona would be harmed by the hot metal. However, Leona would feel a pain building on her own skin and flesh beneath her own gauntlets, just as the Knight might be feeling.
Regardless of her pain tolerance or power up, Leona’s body would erupt in agony that hard to match. Her defenses were bypassed by a magical force as he made her feel a moderate portion of everything he felt. The wounds that had just been inflicted upon him were harsh, his own critical and it seemed that what she felt could grow to be lethal at this rate.
His gauntleted hands squeezed tightly around her head and his thumb tried to find an eye so that he could crush it and blind her.
Tryndamere’s blade came down upon him as well, striking hard again on his shoulder. What looked like bone, although black and defiled, could be seen beneath the flesh that had been cut and burned away by previous efforts. It seemed to be cracking. However, Leona would feel that blow too, the pain igniting and tearing through her body where his new wounds had been inflicted. Skin would rip, bone might break. Pain would be felt as the Knight tried to kill her with her own efforts as well as her allies.
If Tryndamere was lucky, he might be able to cut it off and break the hold.

Tourmund watched as the champions fought against the void monster. He could feel its dreadful aura weaken him as he approached.
His king had struck vicious blows against it and the Radiant Dawn had reached full power when the creature lashed out at her. With its focus on the Solari, Tormund saw his opening.
He ran at the Knight as fast as his aged body could. The Knight was ad his attention on the women on his grip and gave him no acknowledgement.
He swung a vicious blow to the creatures right knee, or what resembled a knee, mustering all he could in an attempt to topple the monster..

Leona felt the burns, the excruciating pain that tore it's way through her own body as the pain he felt seemed to be come her own, at least a portion of it. However, her skin had become like stone, her bones like steel. Even as her nerves screamed, she did not falter, would not falter. Blood stained the inside of her clothes, and most of them were ripped, exposing her flesh. Her armor still hung on her though, shining as bright as the Sun itself.
When the knight stepped to the side and grabbed her head, she let out a cry of pain as her skull felt like it was being crushed. However, a much more powerful version of her Eclipse formed over her and let out a shock wave of Sunlight that blasted the knight away from her. Leona then quickly got to her feet and ran a little ways forward, sticking both hands into the air, glaring at the void knight.

Tryndamere wasn't certain what Leona was doing, but whatever it was, it needed time. After such a devastating slash, he knew the void knight couldn't last much longer. The Barbarian king raised his sword once again and charged after the being, this time he would go for a stab rather than a slash, hoping to lock up the creature long enough for the Solari to prepare her attack. When Tormund decided to join in the assault, he called out to him, asking for his assistance. "TORMUND! SHOW THIS MONSTER WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ATTACK THE FRELJORD!"

The damage to Leona was extensive and she knew not if The Radiant Dawn would survive her effort but she could at least make her effort worth something. Bristle charged at the Knight who was crippled, Sejuani’s flail spinning as she approached. A stab through the beast side, a blow with a hammer to the knee. Sejuani added to the effort with her own flail, slamming it into the beast face as Bristle charged by.
"Take that you bastard!" It connected and the helmet nearly shattered, cracking here and there along the metal helmet. Part of the flail hooked into the eye slot of the helmet and raked across the creatures face as the flail exited just as quickly as it came.

Tekun approached the combat that ensued. It would be over soon but it was clear that Leona was in horrendous shape. Despite her empowerment the Knight had done terrifying damage to her. He didn't know if her gathering of solar energy would damn her or not. He approached the side and began to remove an over sized revolver that remained fasted to the interior of his cloak. It was one of two weapons held upon his person. The other his bastard sword that was sheathed on his back.
"I won't forgive you if you throw your life away senselessly for this effort. We have enough to bring him down."
Tekun shouted towards Leona as he watched the rest of the effort. He knew damn well what the Knight was capable of, he'd seen it a few times. Judging from the severity of Leona's wounds he'd already expended or was expending the worst of his abilities.
