Teo gasps faintly when the arms wrap around him, uncovering his eyes in shock, but a feeling of warmth crept into him with each second of the hug. He couldn't help but hug back, resting his cheek on Yoshi's shoulder as the tears slowly went away. His eyes also faded back to their normal color, no longer with that yellow glow.
Teo is taken back by the offer, stuttering faintly with his mouth slightly agape.
"B-but... oh, but... w-what do you mean? I-I couldn't just go take food from you like that. And... I-I know you probably have somewhere to be going, and I don't want to hold you up or anything..."
"I... I don't understand... How would I bring you happiness?"
Nobody had ever found happiness with him before, so why this one yordle? What is it that he wanted from the little yordle? They always wanted something... why would this time be any different?
"I'll take you back to camp where you can eat. Horatio's serving sausage!"
He takes Teo by the arm and leads him back to the camp. The morning has never been brighter. Before, it was foggy and mysterious but now with Teo, things may seem to brighten up.
When Yoshi and Teo arrive at the camp, much of the musical members are still asleep but more are already awake. Horatio is serving the usual breakfast buffet. Horatio runs towards Yoshi, worried that his friend is gone for a long time.
"Yoshi! Where have you been!? I was about to form a search party just to find you and-"
He stops when he sees a young boy next to Yoshi. Curious eyes look down upon Teo and he kneels down to greet him.
Teo follows along, sticking close behind Yoshi. The forest hadn't been safe lately, and he was always very insecure about his own strength. When they get to the camp, the scent of food distracts the little bard for a moment and he falls a little behind, but, Horatio catches him by surprise and he quickly steps behind Yoshi, shaking a little.
"U-u-uh... h-hello... um, m-my name is... T...Teo"
The little yordle is shivering, weakly allowing the handshake and afterwords slowly retracts his hand. Teo does his best to stay behind Yoshi, only peeking around enough to see Horatio's face.
